i want to know your theorys about time traval...

heres my thoughts...

when a person supposedly time travals they dont go back or foward in time but in different dementions for example "you are sitting in a dinner your at a table waiting for someone to take your order while your waiting you see two glasses in front of you, a glass of water and a glass of orange juice (or anything you would like to drink...its an example) the moment you grab the the glass of orange juice the universe splits in two and in the other demention you grab the cup of water."

so in a different demention you do the exact oppisite

I already shared your theory.
Note: you are stuck in the dimension you created.

However I of course do not beleive time travel is possible.
God damnit Teddy now I have nothing to say.

uuuh... So whats the deal with airline food?

Time travelling relies of the existence of time as something that has form and memory.
So it's the same concept as going back a page in your browser.
You can go back and do something different then you did before, but "time" will still have remembered what you've done before you went back.
Therefore it is possible to go back in time and change the future, but then the fabric of time would be split in two and the timeline you left will continue without you.
Perhaps that would erase all memory of you in the timeline you left, to accomodate for your prescence in the new timeline you've created.
Maybe the two timelines will cease to exist seperately and be combined into one timeline after a while, which could lead to a possible rip in the space-time continuum, opening the door to other timelines that might have been created or even events from the past being contemporary with events from the present and future.
Man, I feel like writing some science fiction now!

Tell me about it, they served me Roast Beef, Horseradish and Cheese sandwiches, now consider that its packaged so plasticify it by about 20% and now consider its cheap so add lots of fatty bits to the beef, and now consider that the toddler a few seats in front of me had just gone number 2 in his big boy pants, so the lingering scent of, well you know is still there. Yeah, I don't usually get sick on planes, but I didn't really stand a chance.

By that logic, everything possible of anything ever has happened, and you would be a clown, a firefighter, dead, a transvestite, gay, smart, dumb, asian, french, dead again...

Time is eternally linear. You cannot change time, and if somehow it happens, anything you do will just loop itself, and anything you do, already happened. Watch the episode of Futurama when they go back in time to Roswell. That explains it basically. Without the cause to go back in time, you wont, which is the paradox, so you cant change it to make the world a place where you would not have wanted to go back.

I always like the theory that time travel does exist in the future and there's some law against going back into a time period without time travel.

Which would explain why we've never seen time travelers because it hasn't been invented in our time. That or they're reclusive people.

I'm confused. How is that supposed to be time travel? That is just multiverse theory. If I understand you correctly your talking about moving across dimensions, rather than through time.

My views on Time travel are the same of those as expressed in H.G. Wells' The Time Machine.

I just considered that and noticed it has absolutely nothing to do with time.

Could also be like Quantum Leap, you can only time travel in your own lifetime.
