Time Travel

Yesterday while biking home I started thinking about the Back to the future movies then I wondered to my self if i went back in time and had to bring one item back to change anything I wanted what would it be. I couldn't actually think of anything cool, so i ask you escapist what would you bring back to what ever time you choose and what would it change?

Hm. If I went back in time I'd probably bring either some document that is important and was never published or old coins. Depends on how far back and what are my limits.

I'd bring back stock market receipts to show that I legally purchased a large amount of stock in Microsoft, IBM, Sony and a host of other businesses that made it big.

I would bring a laptop with information o all non-weapons technology to the past.

A copy of all books in the Alexandrian Library before it was destroyed.

A Dinosaur egg. I would clone a whole bunch of them and use them to replace the Bengal Tigers that guard my private property from intruders, poachers, ramblers, you know the sort.

A dodo, and then I would run around the Natural Museum of history in London with it proclaiming "Who's dead now?"

I would go back and get myself a baby T REX or i would go back to ancient Japan and get a sword made for me.

I think I'd get something valuable at the time, and bring it back and sell it for more than it's value, since it's ancient and valuable... maybe something from the ancient pharaos or something

Probaly something of modern historical importance that was never revealed to the public I.E. The personal diaries of Stalin,Churchill or Hitler

I'd go back with a video recorder (or somesuch) and record all the old Doctor Who episodes that were lost when the BBC decided to tape over them.
The BBC is now apparently offering a life-size Dalek for every episode recovered. Gonna build me an army!

That and bring Mozart to the present to show him just how big the modern piano is. And watch him go nuts.

I'd go get Da vinci, bring him back to the present, show him the history of how techonology has advanced since he originally died and watch him go nuts with science!
