Apart from the fact that you can get a lot of laughs out of it, it is also fun as mere trivia. For those of us who have some interest in storytelling/drama it is also a fun way to get inspiration, or realize what pitfalls to avoid.

It's like Wikipedia in a way, but it's about 'tropes' (basically cliches) that appear in games, films, anime, books, Tv and so forth. It's very addictive, it's got that 'one more click, and then I'll go to bed' kind of thing going on.
