Signed and shared. If they do an HD collection, I hope that at least one of them has online multiplayer. I'd prefer 3.

...We should totally get serious about this too...post flyers at your game shops! Post on other forums! 300k is going to take a lot!

Done.

Almost 45,000 signatures now. Not sure if it will make it but perhaps a kickstarter to test the water would be better?

I don't know actually. The CEO just wants to know the demand is there to do it. They don't need the money. The problem is the petition didn't exactly get that much press which is why it needs to get around.

Seems to be going strong since it go on Reddit and a couple of other places, it just needs to be a bit more prominent. Unless of course all those people saying how much they loved Timesplitters literally can't be bothered to sign.

It's now almost at 45K and when I started this thread it wasn't even up to 7K and from the comments on the petition it had been going a month.....

I hope he feels this because I'm signing it as hard as I can.

Timesplitters is the best shooter series ever, and my most favorite game series OF ALL TIME. There's a lot of talk and debate about what "fun" is. What it really means. I'll tell you what it means, Timesplitters is what it means. There is no other game that demonstrates precisely what "fun" is.

It has a charm and personality unlike any other game, and its an absolute joy. The multiplayer is the most fun I've ever had while playing games. The bots are fun to play with. 4 player split-screen is fun, and the map editor of the games is the best I've ever used. Simple enough that anyone can get into, deep enough that you can make story missions with it. Each game was a seperate experience that, instead of doing the standard "same old stuff with some new stuff" formula like most sequels, did something all their own. This means each game has something you will not experience in the others. The characters are unique, funny, and all have their own little personality. And considering there are 150+(!) selectable characters for multiplayer, thats quite a feat. I could turn this into a giant essay about why Timesplitters is the greatest series ever made, but I'll stop here.

So sign it. Sign it as hard as you fucking can. The Moose is fucking loose.

Must spread word! This series is one of my all time favorites. I've never played another FPS where a monkey can kill a Robot by tossing a brick at his crotch. Timesplitters 2 is my personal favorite of the series, too. So, I'm definitely signing this.

I'm scared now. It seems to be losing momentum.

And I've told everyone I can so far. I don't know what to do...

I've never played Timesplitters but many seem to like the games, so if it's any help, I signed it anyway. Who knows, maybe I'll pick this up if they do it.

Remember, if it gets reported on by a couple more big gaming sites, it could easily get that momentum back. Also, remember that it probably doesn't need 300,000 signatures to get it made. I think if it gets at least 50,000, something Timesplitters related could easily end up happening.

Yeah. It just looks more impressive if it actually reaches its target instead of failing, because that gives the idea of hope then failure, which isn't good when selling a game.

Signed and telling all of my friends about it. I've been loving Timesplitters since the original and I've gone far too long without the timesplitting goodness!

Oh, by the way, Susan responded to my message, said that they generally don't do features on stuff like this or anything similar (kickstarter and the such) because they don't want a massive amount of people bugging them to highlight the new thing that they're looking forward to.

Timesplitters 1 in HD will probably end up looking like the Perfect Dark Remake (if anyone here liked Timesplitters 1 or 2 then you should take a look at Perfect Dark, they are very similar.)

Perfect Dark is closer to TS2 then anything else, it would be cool if the Goldeneye remake stayed faithfull to the original, that way I could have all the Rare/Free Radical FPS's (except Perfect Dark Zero, but everyone knows that the game only had good visuals).
