Are you tired of being the weird person that no one will talk to? Tell your tale and/or thoughts:

I was born with naturally red eyes (genetic defect) yet my right is darker than my left (which is also my worst eye). All my life I have been called a "witch", a "demon", and "the daughter of Satan" by people who saw my eyes. My parents were banned from their church because of this, and they've never forgiven me for it.

This changed (somewhat) in 2004 when I had to get corrective lenses for my left eye which was becoming worse, and contacts were my only option. I wanted to get a different colored iris to hide my left eye so my optometrist decided to make it green since green is the pposite of red on the color spectrum. So I ended up looking like Suiseiseki prior to Rozen Maiden. This was not a problem until I enter high school 3 years ago, and by then a few had seen RM. So then I became the laughing stock of my school.

Now they call me a "nerd" and a cosplayer" and that I dyed my hair brown (which I didn't). My reputation is so trashed at school that no one will talk to me except for my boyfriend will talk to me. I have to keep Clorox wipes in my locker because someone writes "Desu" all over my locker every day. It gets even worse when I get home, where my parents want nothing to do with me.

You have a red eye? Sick, I wish I did. Having both brown is so boring but having a red and green would be so cool. Don't listen to those dicks, they're just jealous they don't have cool eyes.

Well I guess my story is that when I was 14 I succumbed to an infection and by the end of the same day I was pretty much on deaths door. To remove the infection, the only option was to amputate half my left foot, since the source was in the bones. Luckily, I lived and they didn't have to amputate half my leg like they thought they would.

Once everyone got over the shock people settled in to my amputation so natually jokes started to follow. I would sometimes be teased as cripple boy, half-foot, and this one guy who was really strange would always point out my amputation with things like, "Hey Ben, what has a big head and half a foot? It's Ben!" Odd fellow, his sense of humour involved stating the obvious.

But really, you can't let the jokes of people get you down. The best thing to do is become part of the joke. I came up with some nicknames myself and even chatted about some pranks we could pull off with half a foot. Life becomes more fun when you join in with the fun of others.

Well I enjoy being the weird person and was never picked on in school that much either. I say you take up martial arts and start to teach some kids a lesson or 5.
Well, and I can't believe Im saying this, try to look on the brightside of things.

What would you rather be:

A supposed cosplaying nerd, or a red-eyed demon child. (put some serious thought into it)

TBH if the church banned your parents because of your eye color you're lucky you got away from that place. That's just pure stupidity (the church)

I'm sorry you've had a hard time. I've never seen someone with red eye, before, but i actually think it's kinda cool

I've never heard of that... show, if that's what it is, but it's pretty clear who the real nerds are if they're giving you a hard time over some anime stuff. How many people even know about the show, I can't imagine it would be enough that it would really trouble you. I'm pretty sure the cool kids don't write "desu" on peoples lockers, and want no association with anime.

I spit in the General direction of the arrogant people who harass you. I thought humanity would learn a thing or two after all the shootings that have happened. Oh well that's humanity for you, full of ignorants and fools. What can we say.

This just proves how religion is an unnecessary piece of shit that does more harm than good. But anyway I would be overjoyed if i had red eyes. That makes you unique. Im sorry to hear about your school. Kids are simply retarded these days

demon child, my best friend already refers to me as the spawn of Satan (which works out well because he doesn't like my dad)

I'm happy I don't live in such an idiotic community that they'd ban you from a church for eye color. Move to my town, the eye color thing will make you insanely popular (We are easily entertained here)

Some kids in the anime club noticed and began spreading rumors. As time passed they began to educate the rumor hungry masses about rozen maiden. They started writing "Desu" on my locker a few months into my sophmore year

My boyfriend is seemingly the only atheist in the school, and he's the only one who is fine with my natural eyes. Proves how much more civilized atheists can be.

The non-militant ones tend to be more level headed than most people...
