Its a great representative of what can be achieved through western animation. The characters are likable, the voice work is great, and the visuals are beautiful.
I used to watch this as a kid, and I still love it.
Did anyone else here catch it? What did you think?
Treasure Planet? That's a good one too.dmase said:Future reboot of treasure island,
Well, not that I agree with you, but I can see why you might think that way. Despite some of the harder sci-fi elements that really make the movie for me, there is some stuff in there that really doesn't need to be there.HardkorSB said:Am I the only one who thinks that beside good visuals, the movie was pretty mediocre and quite boring?

That has to be an exaggeration.Soviet Heavy said:The worst example has to be the Land Before Time sequels.
There are nineteen fucking movies, and a tv series. Jesus, if that's not selling out, I don't know what is.
Oh, only twelve? Well, thats still ridiculous.CK76 said:That has to be an exaggeration.Soviet Heavy said:The worst example has to be the Land Before Time sequels.

"The film was a critical and financial success and spawned a multi-million dollar franchise with twelve direct-to-video sequels"
