I liked Titanfall actually. The movement was fun, the game was fun. It just needs to have actual staying power. I don't care if it has single player or a story mode, but don't lie to me and make multiplayer count as story mode, cause it sucked.
I guess it is meant to be mean, but COD with mechs sounds kind of cool honestly. (From what I hear the game had a lot more going for it too.) I think they kind of made a error going MP Xbox one only. It's been a long time since I played a good SP mech game. If they don't do a token SP element then it sounds good.
Shouldn't be hard to make a better game than the first one. Get rid of the AI bots in competitive multiplayer, and have more content available on the disc at release. Totally inexcusable to ship a multiplayer only game with a handful of maps, and charge 60 bucks for it.
I may give Titanfall 2 a go, but not until a big price drop unless I end up renting it. As I'm not a big fan of CoD.

This can go one of two ways. It could be a derivative sequel, or it could dramatically expand the gameplay. At it's core, Titanfall was fun so there's potential.

Poor B-cell. If only the trailer had a space marine running around shooting demons, bereft of context or subtlety. It might be more 'manly' and enjoyable then.

OTT: i was kinda jealous owning a ps4 and all, but if this one has a decent singleplayer and has multiplayer lasting power i just may buy it. Not day one mind you but at a discount.

Well fuck, how can we make this better to suit you and your own personal tastes so you'll make a thread about something you are excited for instead of making it to tell us all how much you don't like it? (That isn't the most manly of manly games like Dooooooooooom, heugh). To add to the previously mentioned, it's better to make a thread about a game you're looking forward to, rather than make a one to say "Look how shit this is."B-Cell said:

It looks alright but it's not Doom or Shadow Warriors 2 or manly like those old school new FPSers for manly men of manliness!

If they could make it similar to Titanfall 1 but just have...well....more of it, I think they'd be set.

XBO/PS4 players should be able to get decent mileage out of it though.
That's something only Battlefield seems to be good at pulling off (although lately even that has been falling miserably short, thanks Hardline).

Lacking content is not fine *shakes stick angrily*, dammit what is the world coming to. It had a non-existent singleplayer and the multiplayer simply didn't have enough depth/longevity to it to carry the game on it's own.Elvis Starburst said:

I guess now that they have their technology, core mechanics, and basic lore down (not to mention no longer having to deal with legal issues with Activision), they may have time to spend actually filling the game with content. It will be interesting to see.
Now they just need to add the ability to obliterate a dozen mooks at once with beam spam and they'd have essentially created a Gundam game I'd actually consider playing.Cowabungaa said:
