Her eyes widened, and she felt a cold jolt go up her spine.
How does he know about my father!? I didn't even tell him about my father!
She thought, as she calmed herself down, outside her mind, nothing appeared wrong with her.
Right... Just need to do this.
She simply blinked, her eyes now looked into his thoughts, and found the answer, and the fact that he was targeting her.

We found ourselves in a location below the clouds, I couldn't see anything around the area, but it seemed to be real, but it was located in another world.
She paused, blinking, and hearing a girl speaking, with her enhanced hearing.
We found a stairway that lead above the clouds, at the top was another small staircase, and a shrine, which had eight pillars, and an arch, below the arch was a podium. In front of the podium was my father.
She stopped, and sipped from her cup.
May I ask you, how did you know about my father if I didn't even tell you?

Dartor blinked confused for a moment. He was too busy focusing on what Cassandra was saying to notice the distress that he had inadvertently caused. Cassandra's own question threw him off though.

"What do you mean? You just told me that your father caused the force that knocked you into..." Dartor wasn't sure what word to use, the lack of information was infuriating. "that condition. He must be linked in some way right? But I hypothesize that such a thing would probably take a great deal of power."

Dartor wondered for a moment. If Cassandra was already forgetting something she had just told him when she was awake then how could he trust what she told him about the dream itself. In his deep thought and exhaustion Dartor had unconsciously relaxed, lessening his defensive vigilance as he puzzled over many factors.

 

[XThecommander]

She blinked, and suddenly remembered the conversation only a lit bit ago.
Is this the curse that my mother warned me about? Making me forget everything all over again? No... He is trying to erase all my memory!
She sat up, and looked at him.
May I use the restroom? I have to go to the bathroom right now...
She said, in truth, she did have to go to the bathroom, but she also had to check on something, that her mothers magic covered up, and sealed.

 

[Fishtie]

"Hm?" Dartor was suddenly shaken from his thoughtful interlude. "Oh, right. It's that door right over there." Dartor said as he pointed across the hall and a bit to the left.

stupid. He thought to himself. She was a potential danger, even if she didn't intend it herself, and he was supposed to be keeping an eye on her not zoning out. Dartor drank the rest of his tea in one gulp and began to poor another cup while he waited for Cassandra to... do whatever it was she had to do. Dartor tried not to think about it and instead busied himself with the information at hand while keeping an eye on the door.

Right, i'm in the bathroom, but I shouldn't use it yet...
She thought, as she closed her eyes for a minute, opening them back up, and being able to see the seal that her mother put on the mark, which made it invisible to the naked eye, and sealed its power away.
I just need to make sure it's completly sealed.
She made a small chant, and watched the seal fully tighten, and saw that there was a small breach in the seal.
Ok, now I should be able to go to the bathroom in peace.
She thought, as she used the restroom, and walked out of the bathroom, noticing Dartor gazing at the door.
So he was waiting for me? He must deem me a threat. Since he is still keeping me targeted, but it doesn't take much to defeat him, but you didn't want to do that.
She thought, her eyes had shifted to the color or purple, she wondered if he would notice her eye color changing from yellow, to purple.

Dartor was a bit thrown off by the eye color. Some kind of trick or illusion? He lightly tapped his glasses but the data that sprung up seemed to match his previous scans well enough. True, the information gathering capabilities of this piece was far from complete but it's what Dartor got when he sacrificed for convenience.

Perhaps he should try something else. "Um, your eyes." He pointed at one of his own to show what he meant. "They seemed to have changed color. Did they used to do that?" Sometimes the direct way was the best.

She blinked, and felt a bit worried.
Did they change color again? I hope they aren't red... If they are red, that means-
She stopped, and looked up at him.
What color are they?
She felt she needed to explain to him the eye color problem, but she may have to lie, or else...
But if these people are your friends, then why would you lie to them? You would eventually need to tell them...

 

[Fishtie]

"Purple." Dartor answered mater of factly. "What color are they normally?" This time even Dartor could detect a sliver of distress from her. But was it because she wasn't used to her eyes changing? Or was there something about the color itself? Either way she apparently hadn't been aware of the change.

 

[XThecommander]

Oh... I see, I just wanted to know, usually they don't change color like that, but it is a thing that is based on mood. You do know a person has differnet colored eyes based on their emotions.
She said, blinking, as her eyes became a bit of a darker purple.
But for me, it also means that i'm using power... But since they are purple, and I see a purple tint to my vision, thankfully the tint doesn't mess with my vision.
She was calm, thus, her eyes were colored purple, a dark purple. She then remembered talking about something, but she knew he would probably finish his sentence, or ask about something else, based on the information she gave him.

 

[Fishtie]

"I see." Dartor said genuinely intrigued. This girl was certainly a person of much mystery though Dartor had heard of stranger things. Still there were more important things to focus on at the moment. Dartor finished his second cup of tea and began poring another as he spoke.

"So what we know is that your father pulled your mind away to some other place. Not only did he do that, but he also did it with enough force to drag along someone else merely by contact with you. If we knew why that could certainly be a good step to finding out more things. You wouldn't happen to remember anything that would give a clue, would you?"

Dartor then offered the teapot to Cassandra. "Warm it up for you?"

She smiled, and grabbed the teapot, pouring more tea into her cup.
Thank you.
She said, sipping another cup of tea.
I can't say I remember anything, he only made me go there because he wanted to talk with me, but he dragged her along, just because his powers are far greater...
She said, her left eye slowly started to have a red crescent appear in it, as she spoke.
He didn't have any other reason, but the one thing that was strange, was the fact that he harmed both of us physically.
She said, showing him the cut, and yawned, her eyes getting a bit heavy.
I want to go to sleep, can we please finish this?
I hope I don't pass out, I don't know who he is fully, but I dislike the possibilities, since he did put me in a glass tube, and did the same with Bridget, it may have been done out of care, but it was also done out of examination of the enemy.

Dartor watched curiously as the crescent began to appear. He was somewhat disappointed by her response though. It was as he feared, she didn't remember enough of the experience to be very useful. He reached out to touch the cut but stopped himself, not only was touching her still posibly dangerous but it would probably be rude as well. Still, the posibility of what she said really worried Dartor.

Cassandra's yawn though snapped him out of his focus again. Looking up at a clock he could see that it was so late that it was technically morning.

"Of course, of course." He stood. "I think one of the guest rooms is probably serviceable. By the way, your eye? It's got a bit of a circle in it. Is that normal?"

She blinked, taking out a small mirror she had, and gasping.
It appears sometimes, it is mainly what shows my powers. Currently I don't have alot of power, thus, it is red, but supposedly, the more power I gain, the color will become different, untill it reaches a point where it is ultimate, my family has never reached that point, but we all have different marks.
She said, suddenly realizing she had said a bit to much.
Maybe it is for the better... But what if it just makes the situation worst?

 

[Fishtie]

Dartor nodded in response, once again it was far from the strangest he'd heard of. "Hm... I wonder if we could track them through the marks." He mused half to himself. Looking back at Cassandra he spoke up again. "Well, that's something for another day."

Dartor led her a short way down the hall to an unlabeled door. Opening it showed a simple but functional guest room. "You can use this," he paused for a moment as he thought, "for as long as your here."

He paused again thinking to himself. "I'm going to set the security seal so we know when you come and go for now. I hope you understand that I can't just let you have the run of the tower just yet. For your own safety if nothing else." Dartor looked at Cassandra with earnest eyes.

She paused, then nodded.
Ok, but...
She paused, she then let loose one power that she wished to try out for a long time. She shifted her hair over her left eye, and her crescent flashed, as all time froze.
Perfect, now to get my things, and come back here.
She quickly went to the main room, and then back to the hall, checking to make sure she had everything.
Ok, that's all of it... Now to unfreeze time.
The crescent in her left eye flashed again, her eyes now the color red, but she turned around, and had already placed her objects in the room, but away from view.
Thank you, now I have to change clothes so could you please leave me?
She said, as she started to remove her shirt.
2 minutes, the time it took to go down there would have been longer, but I used my speed, and thankfully my powers are much stronger at night, but I must now wait 4 minutes for it to cool down.

 

[Fishtie]

"Right. Right." Dartor closed the door and keyed several commands into a nearby wall pad. He was gladdened that this time the system acknowledged his orders properly setting the security seal in place. Only then did he check his beeping watch. A indicator poped up and Dartor almost swore. "A cronologic shift-jump occurred?" He said to himself. Was she responsible? Dartor took one last look at the closed door before walking away. "A most mysterious girl indeed."

With that Dartor passed by his room without a single glance at it and headed back to his lab. He was tired but the tea had somewhat reinvigorated him and there was so much to do, even more to do now.

Arriving Dartor closed the door to his lab and began to promptly sift through boxes that had yet to be unpacked. It took him almost half an hour to find what he was looking for. Placing the dome shaped thing on a clear workbench he lowered a welding mask over his face and set to work with a proton wielder causing sparks to fly. It was clear that many new threats were on the horizon and Dartor would need something totally new to deal with them.

I wonder if he noticed... O well, as long as I got my things, and made sure he didn't see me.
She said, she then realized a flow of air go past her mid section.
I still need to get dressed properly. I guess a shirt, and shorts are the only things that are needed.
She thought, as she put on a new shirt, since her old shirt had a bit of blood on it.
I'm keeping this shirt to myself, just so he doesn't decide to analyze my blood.
She thought, she hated to go to sleep in the room, but she had to, she eventually felt her eyes become heavy, and she fell asleep.

 

[Scarim Coral]

Frost Knight had finally made it into the living room with a jester like hat but he saw no one there and no party stuff like a welcome banner or balloons etc.
"Danm it! I knew I shouldn't spend ages looking for my jester hat!" Shouted Frost Knight. He quickly took it off seeing to reason to keep it on any longer.
Wait a minute He though.
He ran back to the entrance to the living room. He then repositions himself into his fighting stance and took a wide scan at the living room from where he was.
Ok I think we are not under attack nor was the living room was a trap otherwise the doors would of been shut tight.
He then ponder for a few second and remember about his communicator.

He got out his communicator from his side pocket and flip it open to state where were they. He got a reply and they said they were in Dartor lab. He then ran toward the lab.

Part of my bio is in the first page...but it kinds got om nomed at the bio. Dx

A Teen Titan ship lands outside the Tower dropping off what appears to be a new member...

Turning to face the ship and waves as it rises up and goes off into the night. "Well now," looking up and down at the tower "so this is what I'll be calling home...we'll see." walking up to the Tower door and walking in.

"Hello?....no answer." Heading twords the elevator and pushing a button for the top of the tower lobby. "He did mention that there was a girl here of a feline essense...I hope that doesn't cause any problems between her and me." shrugging off that silly little thought as the doors open to the lobby. A door closes in his far right periferal vision.

"Hmm... I wonder if I could access their computers here." Heading up to a console and it brings up a screen. "It looks like I can." Goes into the database archives and checks to see if his movement to here has arrived. "Hmm...I don't see it anywhere, Well if it doesnt I have a hard copy of the transfer." Closing out of the computer and heading to the giant windows of the tower overlooking the city. "Kind of reminds me of Venice...wonder if I can get a better view." Setting all his stuff down and the hardcopy of the transfer outside next to it and heads for the elevator down to the base level and heads outside the tower. "Lets see if I can climb this." Leaps onto the side of the tower and digs his werewolf claws into the side of the tower and begins climbing up to the top.

At the top, his werewolf arms revert back to normal hands and a wolf tail forms "Well this is a magnicicent view." Gazing out at the city and then looks up at the sky and howls. "HOOOOOOOOOME!"

As Frost Knight run toward Dartor lab, he heard a faint sound. He stops and think where it come from. Judging from that faint sound he figures it had to be outside since it didn't sound like it was in door.
He freeze his head to make his ice helmet and open the near by window and stick his head out (he though there could be a sniper near by). He scan at the wide view of the area and saw nothing suspicious. The last place he looks up was at the top of the tower. He lifts his head high up but spotted nothing unusual.
The sound must of come from the root top. I better tell the others and investigate it.
He continue running to Dartor lab.
