To Americans: How much do you know about Canada? Vice Versa?

Im kind of curious to know whether or not this stereotype where Americans know nothing about Canada is true by majority. Im kind of hoping its not true, but it would be funny if it was.

You dont have to believe that i'm actually doing this, but ill list the states that I know off the top of my head.

Ten provinces. I can list them too.
British Columbia, Ontario, Alberta, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.

Americans know little of our great land, and I don't really expect them to. It's like asking a Texan what they know about the state of New York. They can probably name the capital (I know its Albany!) but not much else 'cept what they see on TV. We do only have 1/10th the population.

BTW, our money and most of the worlds is multicolored... the 5's are blue, 10 purple, 20 green etc. Call it monopoly money, but there's a reason parker brothers didn't make all the money in their game only one color.

Here's what I know of Canada from years of excessive television watching, novel reading and secondhand info from friends;

- Maple syrup, bacon and those lodge hats with the moose antlers are their primary exports.
- Everyone plays ice hockey.
- Canada is split into provinces rather than states.
- Quebec is known for it's large French-Canadian population, many of whom insist on using French as their primary language and behave rather snootily towards outsiders.
- Wolverine lives there.

Blatant stereotypes, misguided assumptions and outright falsehoods. My knowledge of Canada is shamefully limited. I, like all citizens of my great nation, blame the American public school system.

All I know is that during the winter, All the old Canadians from Alberta come here to Yuma messing up traffic with their oldness.

Well I'm generalizing, a lot of old people come to yuma during the winter, but it's mostly Canadians, even some of the RV parks around here have canadian flags up.
