Here's a question. About how long does it take you to draw one of these chapters?
Well, let's see. I'm usually watching Netflix at the time, so that makes it take longer, but I'd say it takes about a half hour to get everything prepared (that is, I take a piece of paper to sketch out the panels, and write the lines so they'll fit, and also look up my notes on how to draw things and make new notes for things I haven't drawn), an hour to draw the thing (including measuring out the panel lines, drawing in pencil, drawing in pen, coloring in with marker, checking for mistakes, etc), then from there I'd say another half hour to get the thing scanned, use Microsoft Paint to fix the mistakes I noticed and erase pencil marks that are still visible, upload to Photobucket, and use Photobucket's image editor for final adjustments.
So, long story short, about two hours, give or take. Of course, I have to think up the chapter first, which involves coming up with a premise, a couple of snappy one-liner jokes, and a clever way to condense it all into ten panels, all of which I do in the days between drawing.
