Toss up between Sonic Adventure 2 battle and Sonic 3 and knuckles


I feel like Sonic 3 and knuckles was amazing and had so much playablity,

but Sonic Adventure 2 battle has AMAZING music, hell even the crappy "Sonic the Hedgehog" bland 360 game has

which is in my opinion arguably the best song on a video game... it has like 12 unique different versions of it

Sonic 3 and Knuckles. It has everything a sonic game should have.

The levels are imaginative and most of them flow well. The music is mostly fantastic (with the most epic track ever being ice cap zone). It has 3 characters that play similarly, but each have their own unique twist (flying, shields, or wallclimbing). And it not only has the chaos emeralds which enhance the gameplay by giving good players even more speed and power (which can be gathered pretty fast if you're good), but for the true die hards you also get HYPER emeralds which are just plain ridiculous in terms of power, and getting them all. All of this comes together to form my favorite sonic game of all time.

Sonic Colors is my second favorite, mostly because the story makes me crack up, and the levels flow really well. It's nowhere near as fun as S3&K, but it's still totally awesome.

Absolute all time favorite is Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Aside from the obvious (music, level design, etc.), I love how they show the methods Sonic & co. advance to the next level, be by falling off a bridge or taking a teleporter. It really makes you feel like the levels are connected, which in turn makes the world your in seem bigger, which in turn reinforces the idea that the game takes place on a single landmass. I wish they used that idea more often.

As far as more recent games go, my favorite is Sonic Heroes. In fact, I'm probably the only person who thinks it's a better game of the early 3-D era.

The last Sonic game I enjoy is Sonic Adventure 2 (Or I guess Sonic 4 was fun too)...

Like 'em mostly equally. Sonic Generations looks AWESOME.

Sonics 1,2 and 3 and Sonic and Knuckles all hold a special place in my heart.
Sonic Spinball and Sonic 3D Blast were good too.

Sonic CD. Amazing aesthetics and visual design, awesome gimmick, multifaceted levels and stellar soundtrack. That's both the US and Japan/EU soundtrack, even though I prefer playing to the US one due to the atmosphere it emits. Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic Colors are runner ups.

Looking forward to Generations.

I was wondering which game i enjoyed most, then i remembered the CHAO!!

Definately going with Adventure 2 Battle, i've had a lot of fun with that game.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is easily one of the best video games ever produced.

I also enjoyed Sonic Adventure 2, mainly because of Shadow. Sonic Adventure 1 was also alright, but past those two not a single one has ever come close.

I haven't played much with the old Sonic games, but I really like Sonic Adventure 2. The main story mode was really fun and I spent more time than I'm willing to admit raising several chaos.

Sonic 2, 3, and Knuckles, and 4 are all solid in my book. 1 is good too, but feels sort of like the first album by an awesome band, before they really got things together.

If I had to pick one, I'd go with Sonic 2.

I'm definitely looking forward to Sonic Generations.

Sonic Adventure 2: Best story, interesting characters and it introduced us to the most well developed character in the games Shadow.

Don't ask me to acknowledge anything after Sonic Heroes though, cause they all failed horribly.

Sonic 4's annoyingly long final boss actually made me run out the timer...

Sonic CD, because it's excellently designed and has, by far, the best music.

Also, the time travel mechanic that allows you to manipulate the future of a stage and a zone by traveling to the past is just brilliant design.

It was the great, classic Sonic game mixed with multiple characters and a slight hint at a story. Also it had Hyper Sonic and a very very epic final boss encounter. Also I think it had the best tunes in the retro games.

Easily Sonic Advance 1 and 2. I think that they are the best games because they embody all the good parts of each of the 'generations' of sonic games.
