This is addressed to anyone who is looking forward to the WiiU's launch and is in support of the console. It is a simple question:

What games do you want to see released on it?

I'll start with one I doubt anyone else wants: Animal Crossing. Call me a freak but I've always loved and enjoyed me some Animal Crossing games and I think a HD iteration of it implementing the WiiU's unique features (primarily the touch-screen) would be really, really interesting if they could pull it off right.

Fanboy in me:
Don't care, because everything that'll show up on the Wii U is either going to be on the PS3/X360 or can already be found on an older Nintendo console.
BOOM!

Serious Answer:
They've already announced it; Super Smash Bros.
A new Nintendo IP. I know it'll never happen, but I just like to keep saying it.
Actually, I want someone to make action + RTS game. On the TV, you'd play as the super awesome commander who goes around and pwns people like Kratos (with the good old light+heavy attacks and abilities control scheme), and on the iPad display it has a bird's eye view of the battlefield where you can issue tactical orders to units similar to a standard PC RTS.
Hello, new Warhammer 40k game(?).

Call me utterly insane, I'm looking forward to playing Wii titles on it. WiiU-original titles will just be a bonus.

I should note that I don't have a Wii. Haven't had a console since the SNES. I'm a PC Gamer through and through and the Wii was already an awesome idea, the WiiU is that same idea with 3 other ideas on top, and probably 200? more expensive.

It's like the thing was made specifically for me :D

I want to see the original style of Crystal Chronicles reborn on the WiiU.

That alone would make it a buy for me. I LOVED the original one.

Currently I want to see screen shots of that killer freaks (whatever its called) the ubisoft exclusive shooter.
The multiplayer has one person using the weeeoooohhhh controller as a map to direct the killer freaks.

So far the weeeeooohhh is such a great multi tool of gimmicks, it will be hard for devs not to be able to use it.

A simple menu or map can be used on it.

A game like GTA 4 in other words one, with a tiny round map would be great as it would mean i wouldn't need to sit close to the screen to see the map clearly.

First time I heard it announced all I could think of was this

Well, they've got things already on it. They've shown they're working on a Zelda title, they confirmed Pikmin 3, and they've announced Super Smash Bros 4.

What else do I want? Here's my list, not including specific games:

1: The ability to move your Virtual Console and WiiWare content onto the WiiU. They did it with DSiWare to the 3DS (And I love them for that), so I'm not really that concerned about having to re-purchase all my old retro games. But since they're not making it backwards compatible with the Gamecube.... how about adding the Gamecube games to the Virtual Console? For me, that'd make the WiiU go from a "whenever I can afford it" to a "Day 1... by whatever means necessary" purchase for me.

2: A better indie game environment. WiiWare had some truly underrated gems. But nobody bought them. Because nobody heard of them. I'm just saying, promote them a little better.

3: Have some lenience on Homebrew and certain moddable content. A big step in making a truly thriving modding community on consoles. Not a deal-maker or deal-breaker for me, but it'd be nice.

I can think of more, and there a boatload of games I'd like but those three are the first that come to mind.

Also, to third-party devs, they need to show a lot of restraint here. Just because you CAN use a lot of the nifty new features doesn't mean you always SHOULD. The WiiU controller has the standard Two Analog, Four Button, Four Shoulder Button, D Pad configuration. All the other stuff is OPTIONAL. If it won't genuinely contribute to the experience, don't use it. It's not like the Wii where they had to compensate for a lack of buttons or strange layout. It's been standardized, and just happens to have some shiny new toys as well.

Two words:
Silent Scope
in combination with the wii-mote serving as a "gun" of sorts, the controller would make an awesome sniper rifle scope.

I want a 3rd party to find a good use for the controller and create a new franchise. I guess I'm just saying, "suprise me" :D

Hmm Well I know they are making a new SSB and I'm excited for that. A open world game as fun (If done correctly) as GTA/Saints Row I mean hell the controller could be the map no need to pause anymore.
