I'm not particularly straight or racist, but I am the rest. Why do you ask ?

This sounds like the kind of rampant generalization that astrology and similar stuff puts out. 15-25 sounds really specific but it actually covers a huge amount of the internet population and certainly covers the most diverse group, from teens to adults. The difference between say 40 and 50 isn't a big deal, but between 15 to 25 its VAST. Middle-class gamer is a pretty safe bet on the internet, and certainly gaming sites know that, and ditto non-religious. . The racist thing again sounds like its magically reading your mind, but race is a sensitive issue everywhere and the little niggle of guilt thats attached to it rings through because I think we are all scared and unsure if we are racist. Straight is just playing the percentages.

Most tellingly, we ALL like to think that we are above average intelligence. Sadly its not true, but EVERYONE thinks they are above average. And we all know that to some degree we are underachieving. Because everyone slacks off, and definitely someone in that age bracket and... say ... browsing the internet instead of doing something worthwhile is...

I suspect that the description will get a hit for about 75% of the escapist. I know im on the older end at 24, but there are some older, some girls, some gender benders. Btw if you are the last one, we should start a group. I know there's a few gay/bi guys here and I feel we are being underrepresented in the gaming world! We should protest and stuff!

Yes to all, but in sort of a confused area about religion. I want to believe in something more, but I can't seem to find the proof. BLAH!
But, this seems to be a pretty spot on description lol!

-My family worked but the environment I grew up in was very upper middle class. Our old house was Grade 2 Listed and the one I live in now is Edwardian. Played mostly the same few games over and over on a hand-me-down SNES, I was far more outdoorsy as a kid too.
-I'd say so.
-Oh boy, am I.
-Eeeerh. I guess being agnostic isn't particularly religious, but I won't rule anything out for sure. According to UK census my religious is 'Adeptus Astartes' though.

It's all spot on for me, assuming 'racist to some degree' includes making the occasional racist joke.

To what degree? I'd have to say this fits me to the nth degree. Where did you get this? Been watching me or something? :p haha but I don't think of myself as racist, however, I do recognize and normally use stereotypes to decide how I'll talk to a person

It applies very much to me, but I am religious and I won't shy away from admitting it. I just wish I could fix the underachiever part.
