I AM (in dramatic caps for some reason):

-Male = Check
-Age 15-25 = Check (19)
-Straight = Wrong (Bisexual)
-Grew up somewhere in the middle class playing tons of video games = Check (It's debatable, depends how you define class. My dad would argue we're a working class family based essentially on profession, whereas I would opine I'm in the gap between working and middle class. But I'm on The Escapist so obviously I'm a gamer and for the sake of this situation I'm going with check.)
-Above-average intelligence but and underachiever = Check (Again, debatable depending on how you percieve intelligence. I personally think it's not something you can quantify and that I have certain areas I excel and that I really should be doing better than I currently am/have achieved in the past. So I'll go for check again.)
-Racist to some degree = Wrong (I don't judge people by ethnicity)
-Non-Religious = Check (Atheist)

Wow, I got a 5/7. More or less on the money, guess I'm quite the stereotype.

1. Yes
2. Yes, in fact more or less in the middle there.
3. Yes
4. Yes
5. Yes, to some degree, the whole underachieving part has gotten a bit better these last few years.
6. No, not really. Depends on your definition of racism - I do laugh at jokes concerning literally any matter(NO subject is off limits as far as jokes go, atleast as far as the jokes are amusing and not just stupid), including race, but I don't dislike people because of their race, nor do I base assumptions on solely it.
7. Yes

6/7
Interesting.

2. Yes, 18
3. Yes
4. Yes
5. I fancy myself intelligent but I'm not an underachiever.
6. Yes, but only because that is incredibly vague. Racist to some degree? That applies to just about everyone in the world.
7. Yes.

I AM
-Male
-Age 20
-Straight
-Grew up in middle/upper-class playing tons of video-games
-Above-average intelligence and not particularly motivated
-Everyone is racist to some degree, the mere thought that people have different races makes you racist
-Agnostic, and not particularly interested in whatever religion is being pandered to me

Sounds about right.
Actually, no, the mere thought that people have races isn't racist whatsoever.
Thank you for your offended flip-response, yes it does.

The thought that other people are different in that they have different races means you treat (if you think of it differently, you treat it differently) them differently. I'm going to the root of the word and I'm not really arguing, it's just what it means at a very basic level.

No, no, no. Acknowledging the differences between two things is not treating them differently. I do not think of the people as different, but their skin colour is. Implying that the very idea of race makes everyone a racist is frankly stupid.
I think perhaps you're thinking of the term racist as an insult rather than that it's deeper meaning which is thinking of people in such a way to be different from oneself, I'm not calling everyone a big fat racist, I'm just using the term in a way people don't generally use it.

Also, when I said treat, I explained in parentheses last post that it can mean to think of them differently, I'm definitely NOT saying everyone acts differently towards people of different races.

I know this won't help, but can you not post a reply about how I'm stupid or I'm wrong and just accept that I obviously use the word differently than you?

Ok, sorry, I was rude before, I apologise. But just thinking about the idea of racism, if the idea that races exist, something everyone has to acknowledge, makes you racist, then surely that nullifies the point of racism?
Thanks for understanding :D

Yeah, I was only using the word at the basest level, I wasn't really trying to argue that my definition was better in some format. Don't worry, not labeling people racists here :D

So kinda. :3
Uh, how do you not know which gender you are? That's one of the most simple questions there is. It's like me asking you if you have your driver's license, and you responding "I dunno". That makes absolutely no sense.
