It's weird no one seems to care. :/
One of the most anticipated games of the year will use dx11 that so many people whine for its absence at recent games.

You really need to put in here that in said interview Todd Howard struck down multiplayer, officially. So no "will skyrim have multiplayer" threads will ever surface again.

The last few comments are hilarious, and I'm glad it supports DX11, but I want 3D support. I mean, sure we'll be able to run it in 3D but I want it to be smooth like they claim Metro 2033 is.

People should read what he actually says before getting all happy:

Yes, but I guess the real question here is do we take advantage of DX11's big new features and the answer is 'not specifically'. Our graphics work centers around doing things that will look the same regardless of platform, and sometimes that implementation will be different on the 360, PS3, and PC.

So for all purposes and effects, it will have Dx11, but won't look any different or have more and better light/water/shadow/etc effects that Dx9.

Ahh... Mods: The tool to wipe the poo off Bethesda games.

Pretty important given that Skyrim will likely undergo community development for half a decade, and needs to be future-proof ;)

I'm sorry but I skip it because I thought that he also confirmed the fact that there won't be multiplayer at some previous interview.

But another nice thing to hear from that interview is that they make the Construction Set to work as the previous one and using the same textures and meshes formats, which is something really good for modders that they won't have to re-learn how to use the editor and get new tools...

It might be easier to import Oblivion mods to Skyrim too!

This, people. Just because the game will be implementing DX11 doesn't mean it'll be incorporating any of the new features - it'll just run a little better on cards optimised for DX11.
