"Oh me? I work over at fort Meade....

I'm sorry if I told you that, I'd have to kill you.....

I was just joking, I wouldn't dream of laying an unwanted hand on a pretty thing like you.....

Well aren't you kind....

Yo! Bartender! Another round for me and...Jessica! Make it something interesting k?"

The bartender obliged, retrieving a couple of large bottles from the rack behind the bar and pouring them into a fancy silver mixer. He shook it vigorously, retrieved two elegant glasses and poured the green liquid into each of them.

"I like your style my man" said Drake as he handed a few more bills to than man, who promptly retried them before giving Drake and his lady companion a wry smile and setting the drinks alight, Jessica's face lit up with the drink and she looked excitedly at it as it was pushed towards her.

"Cheers" said Drake before blowing out the flame and downing the whole thing.

Lead by example.

Jessica followed suit and gave Drake another smile, she wanted another? Well wouldn't this be an interesting evening... Well that is if the MP's weren't called on him and he was taken kicking and screaming back to base, though if timed right, it could help him avoid the uncomfortable morning good-byes.

'Lets just see what the night brings'

Being a spy rocked.

Damien threw his jacket on a top bunk, grabbed three cheeseburgers, and flopped down onto the couch legs sprawled, all in one fluid motion. "Sweet, thanks. Damn, I can't remember the last time I had a cheeseburger." He laughed at the shocked faces. "I know, un-American, right? I'm almost constantly flying missions; All I eat is what I can manage to get down my throat from the US cafeteria. Not much to eat in the Middle East."

"You got to go to the chow hall?" Black asked right after taking a drink. "Man, I was just out there for five months and I only saw it the day I got there, and the day I left. I don't care if there's twenty-four different meals, MRE's get old after a while." Finishing his first burger, he began unwrapping his second of the three.

"Man, my wife's gonna kill me for being away so long."

The group finished their food and went to sleep. And Drake was still out

[HEADING=2]The Next Day...[/HEADING]

Fisher awoke to the sound of a car pulling in, he quickly got up and put on his one change of clothes. He walked out of his office and saw a man standing in the doorway of the ware house.

"The gear is here." The man said,

Fisher nodded and walked out to his van, He and the man brought the gear inside, they dropped the Name taged duffle bags outside of the barracks. Fisher told the man to go get Drake. He left a note for them to all meet up in the commons

'Another new person? Jesus christ'

Drake was in the same bush he'd been in when he had observed the warehouse yesterday, having snuck out from Jessica's place early morning.

Splinter Cell training becoming useful again

It was a shame, he almost felt bad, she was nice and they'd had fun but he couldn't have anyone in his life, not with the kinda shit he went through, he couldn't in good conscience bring anyone else into that.

He might give her a call again once day, he liked her and he had left an (hopefully) explanatory note for her, when he left.

'Enough with that, focus on the 'mission' at hand'

The newcomer spoke to Fisher and unloaded a couple of duffel bags before departing. Time to move, he crouched behind a nearby parked car, counted to five and did a low sprint across the road. After that it was just the simple matter of climbing the drainpipe to the roof of the warehouse and entering as the other Cell had done yesterday.

'Annnnnd in! I feel like a teen again!'

He emerged from the shadows and began to prepare a quick breakfast for himself back in the common room. Plate of scrambled eggs in hand, he took a seat on the couch and ate quietly as he waited for the others to rise.

Fisher saw on the cameras in the commons that Drake was in. He picked up his phone nd called the man and told him to cut the search. Fisher got up and walked to the commons, he grabbed Drakes bag and he walked in, "Hello, Chaos." He said tossing the duffle bag next to the couch.

Laying with his eyes closed, Black felt to make sure the safety on his pistol was off under his pillow. Once he was sure, he quickly scanned the room for anyone who didn't belong. As soon as he was satisfied he began getting out of the bed, kicking over a few of his bottles. Cursing under his breath, he walked into the kitchen and finally holstered his weapon.

"You have fun last night?" Black asked as he began searching for breakfast foods. "Oh, morning, sir." Grabbing what he needed, he began whipping up a squad-size breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, french toast, pancakes, orange juice, and milk.

"Thanks, sir, but I'll grab it once I'm done cooking," Black replied, shifting his focus between pans, plates, and bowls. "Don't wanna burn any chow, it sucks to wake up to burnt chow."

Mike woke, the picture of his wife in little more than a smile greeting him. He sat up and grabbed his shirt from the ground and slipped it on. Time for another day on the leash of the army. He thought as he stretched and stood up. He took a quick look at Cheryl to make sure Black hadn't had his way with her in the middle of the night and walked into the commons. He could see Fisher, someone he didn't know, Black, and a rather worn looking Drake sitting around. "Welcome home, hope you enjoyed your women of the night last night." He commented to Drake before seeing the bags.

Ho, let's see what uncle Sam brought me for Christmas. He found his, unzipped it, and pulled out the M4. Good, they even got the module I wanted.

Cheryl had lain awake for almost two hours now. She had one ear occupied by her iPod and the other half-heartedly listening to the morning chatter (which rewarded her a brief grin as she heard bottles chime). She stretched. Turned over. Rolled on her back again. Stared at the ceiling. And eventually sighed and flung the thin blanked away. She pulled her shirt over her head, slipped the jeans on, and tossed a glance at the other top bunks when done. Stenrow was still lying there, though she doubted he was sleeping, and Drake's bunk remained untouched. She didn't think he had bailed, so that left entertainment and that made her smirk.

The field runner rotated her shoulders, flung her legs over the edge of the bunk, and climbed down. She walked right out of the barracks, but avoided the commons best as she could as she headed for whatever passed as showers. A few quick minutes later, and with her hair in a wet tangle, she paid the commons a brief visit.

"Morning Sirs," she offered curtly while still stretching the once in a while tight muscle. She found a glass, filled it with water, and headed out back for a little exercise.

"Why yes I did Mr B, why yes I did"

Drake had just finished his breakfast and was screwing the silencers onto one of his P99's and his SOCOM. Its a wonder Jessica hadn't been freaked out by a man that carries three guns but then again, perhaps she was to enthralled to care. He nodded to the others as they entered, ignoring Mikes comment and instead replying with a sarcastic grin.

"Morning to you too Ma'am and don't you worry about what the others are saying Cheryl, your still my main girl" He continued, a large smile on his face and he even let out a chuckle after he was done.

To be honest he was starting to warm to the others, sure, the OP felt more like some kind of bank job but whatever they were doing he had to admit, he was enjoying to company.

Cheryl stopped in her tracks as Fisher brought her attention to the gear. She'd wanted to grab it after her morning routine, but what the hell. The field runner backtracked. She scooped up her relatively small order, slung the duffel bag over her shoulder, and made for the exit again.

As she passed Drake she cracked a sweet smile at him--and flipped him off for good measure. Her smile grew a bit brighter still.

Then she slipped from the commons.

"Good," Black said to Drake as he found a quick stopping point in the cooking. "Enjoy it while you can, cause if you get married, she'll always be asking questions and worrying and stuff. I mean, right after our honeymoon, she was like 'Aaron baby, why can't you get a desk job? I worry about you out there in BFE,' so I was like 'Rae, I'm a trained killer, I done this for years and I ain't getting worse at it.' I mean, yeah it's cause she cares-" he quickly paused to catch some bacon that was getting too crisp.

"But that don't mean it ain't annoying."

Drake gave Cheryl a mock-hurt expression as she passed.

"Why wont you accept me?" he said sarcastically before turning to Black, a small grin on his face.

"Yeah, that why I don't have a woman in my life, I couldn't do that to someone but when I leave this sordid business I might just settle down... Might just"

He finished screwing on the final suppressor and then took out the rest of his order, examining each piece to make sure it was as ordered.

"Goggles, check

Flashbangs, Check

Funky suit, double check!"

He turned to the others, balaclava in hand and smiled.

"At least we get to play with cool toys, even if the OP is a clusterfuck"

"Hell yeah, let me get my toys out in a minute, all this chow's almost done," Black excitedly reported, eager to hold his weapons. "See, I knew Rae from high school- yes, I graduated, you don't gotta make the joke- and all I talked about was sniping people. They was like 'Aaron, you ain't gonna snipe people,' and I was like '*****, hell yes I am,' and look at me now." Getting all the food on big plates, he arranged it all in a row and served himself a plate with a bit of everything. Before sitting down, he walked over and grabbed his bag that was a foot longer than everyone else's and took it to his seat.

"I tell Rae I'll come back alive just for her, so she told me I gotta take that shotgun on missions with me. Army ain't complained, so I keep doing it. I ain't had to use it much, but it's saved my life."

Fisher let out small chuckle when Cheryl flipped drake off.

"Yeah, you gotta make sacrifice in this line of work." He said to Black.

Cheryl retraced her footsteps to where Stenrow had taken the head off a dummy yesterday. It was quiet out here. She placed her glass on the table there, dumped the duffel bag on the ground, and glanced back towards the door she'd come from.

Her jeans back-pocket began buzzing. She blinked and plucked the quietly ringing phone from the pocket. The caller ID identified dear Konrad. Ever persistent as he was.

She sighed and placed the phone on the table as well. It kept buzzing--and it was still at it when she began her routine.

"Dear God, go away," she muttered under her breath. When it did, it was just long enough for her to start on the second proper kata. She kept her focus on the practised motions and barred the brrr-brrr-brrr of plastic against wood from her head, while the phone continued to happily vibrate itself along the slightly slanted table.
