So tomarrow for us in the US and Friday for everyone else Space marines and Dead island is comeing out. Now i know all of us are gonna be playing dead iland with are friends and just haveing all kinds of balls out fun killing zombies. But in space marines MP theres so much to customise and also they give you a abiltey to make your own chapter of space matines or chooses from a exsisting one.

So my question to the Forums is this, What space marines chapter will you pick or what will you create? I will be one of the Dark angels. I used to play the PS1 title Space marines: Hulk as a kid and thats my gatway into Warhammer.

Don't much care for zombie games, so I suppose Dead Island will have to wait until the next big games drought.
Space Marine, on the other hand... that's the second game I ever got an upgrade to XBL Gold for. Campaign comes first, of course, but I'm reeeeaaally looking forward to the online mayhem. The first loyalist chapter I'm going to play as is my own custom chapter, the Tomb Drakes; I created them for the Deathwatch pen&paper RPG, complete with detailed chapter history and everything, and the chance to play as them is one I can't pass up.

Well the intersting thing about the Dark angels is they are VARY loyal to the inpireum(sorry brain fart on who the main guy was) but like the Blood angels they are criminals within the army, and also they have there own secret motive. in the PS1 game they relise they space station is over run and they deside they intest of standing and fighting they would insted take as much relics as they could of the station. And in the prosses they killes ALOT of huemns in the name of glory.

Actually Dark Angels aren't any more criminal then any other Space Marine chapter, they just came first, and have past crimes they want to atone for. Like, really, Space Marines aren't exactly heroes all the time- if you happen to be on the same planet as anything chaos, sorry but even if your the loyalist mofo in the imperium, Space Marines are probably going to slaughter the shit out of you, your family, your neighbors, and anyone you every laid eyes on without a second thought... but its cool 'cuz 'for the Emperor'.

OT: Can't wait for Space Marine! Don't play marines in the actual game but dude, Warhammer game! that is a must buy! I'd have to play as Iron Warriors, if available. Coolest Chaos force. That or Imperial Fists. maybe make my own chapter, like everyone else

Space Marines are not based off an RTS.

The RTS itself was based off Warhammer 40k.

Warhammer 40k has been going since 1987.
