Too Human is a mixed bag in every shape and form (well except for the packaging which is a not a bag nor is it mixed.)
Graphics:
Silicon Knights must have looked at what Bioware did and said ?That would be better if it had Norse Mythology in it.? All the items, locales, characters, etc. all have a mix of technology and Viking to them. Overall it mixes these themes well but certainly is not up to the polygon pushing prowess of a MGS4 or Crysis
Sound:
Too Human has pulled out all the stops in the Audio department. All the voice actors are top notch are really make you feel you are talking to the God of Thunder or
Music is all classical all with a Norse stamp on them almost reminiscent of Halo with the chorus. Unless you hate classical Too Human?s music really is a strong selling point.
Gameplay:
Here is where Too Human decides to forget the ?Action? part of ?Action-Rpg?. To do melee damage you use the right analogue and aim at the enemy then you fly towards him and proceed to hit him into the air/pummel him into pulp. This works great except when the enemies are close but not next to you so you end up hitting the air. Now range is a different matter where aiming on things is the problem. You hold down the RT and use the right analogue to aim but when you kill something you end up lingering on the dead body for a second which can lead to dead Baldur on a stick. This seems to be the objective of the game (to kill you). Unless your are the Bio Engineer you can not regenerate health and the only way to really replenish your health (enemies don?t drop nearly enough health) is to destroy containers which is not easy when your flying towards and aiming at enemies that seem to be made from hell with high damage attacks and seem to have drank many a keg o health. When you die (and you WILL die) you see a agonizingly long cutscene where a valkerie comes down and picks up your body to bring it up to the ceiling. Afterward you respawn at the last checkpoint with slight damage to all your armour and weapons (These can be healed at the ?town? you go to at the end of every ?level?) but all the enemies have the same health so you can do the Bioshock wittle them down approach. But heres the kicker (or punter for American Football fans) the RPG part is amazing. There are skill trees for your class (Melee guy, range guy, health guy, defense guy and all around guy) and alignment (early choice between cybernetic with implants or human) ala Diablo and loot galore with tons of armour and weapons to choose from with some can take runes (power ups you pick up) to do stuff like increased range but the most powerful items require blueprints which cost money (bounty in the game) ,that can be gotten by salvaging items or breaking containers, to make.
In the end Too Human is a Buy for RPG fans, Rent for Action fans, and a Avoid for people that do not like Action or RPG games.
EDIT:Sorry for the mess (all to the left) my tabs seem to not work and neither do my attempts with the space bar.

Hod?s reality has been warped.

Your main character is Baldur Odin?s (Top god guy) son and is your character. Along the way you will interact/team up with other Gods of the Norse variety (Thor, Freda among others). At first the Story is slow (Basic kill the big monster doing bad things) which is followed with a TERRIBLE feast scene where the writers decided to take stupid pills (its chocked full of cheesy lines that make the characters seem like any other ?Strong guy? or ?The girl?) but afterward the Story really picks up with the Aesir (What the gods guys call themselves) go to war with a renegade god called Loki that wraps up with an Epic (not exaggerating) last level where you go to hell to find him and must fight hordes of undead (any of the soldiers(called Wolves) that follow you(they shoot but don?t really do damage just say one liners to keep your company) that die will revive and fight against you) Unfortunately/Fortunately The game ends after you kill Loki?s daughter and find Loki has left to an Ice planet where he finds a giant robot (in the final cut scene) supposedly to use to kill the Aesir then BOOM! Credits/End of Game
