I just started the demo for Too Human and i wanted to know first of all who bought this and did you think think it would be good when you did. and what could they have done better in your opinion
I enjoyed it... it's not in my top 10, but as a Diablo-esque hack-n-slasher it's not bad and I like what they were doing with the dual sticks. The camera could be a bit better though, and the storyline's run-of-the-mill.
I'll say that if you have fun in the demo it's worth picking up. If you're not certain after trying the demo, though, the game probably isn't one you'd like.
I own it, and its pretty fun, For the first 2 or 3 play throughs. Online play is even more fun and really doesnt get old. Beating up on goblins as a berserker (i.e. the fast class) while your freind backs you up with a Gatling laser and explosives just doesnt seem to get old.
I hated it, but then I had high expectations from the ten f-ing years it spent in development. That said, if you enjoyed the demo, then buy it, and to hell the what I think.
I played the demo and then bought the game ( the demo was pretty good). But then after a hour of wandering round REALLY slowly and watching the same death animation over and over i just stopped, i unplugged my xbox and went outside. 2 months later and i havent played it again.
it was ok, the guns couldv been a wee bit stronger. and the upgrades and such didnt really seem to have much of an effect during gameplay
it IS better after youv completed it because when you play through again it mixes up the types of enemy you get and where they are. but thats only if you can be bothered to play it thought to the end and THEN start over again.
I thought it sucked, but I played it just by myself, and had just gotten portal, so whenever I was playing it, I was thinking "I could be playing Portal right now..."
Personally I got bored of it. It was too much of the same thing over and over and over and over again. Lack of new challenges made the game get old quickly for me, which made it fun to start with but it lacks the substance to keep the game entertaining. The advancement system didn't seem to make much difference and it does feel like a game designed 11 years ago, which was between Diablo 1 and 2.
But some people seem to like it, so perhaps borrow it off a friend or rent it to see if it is your cup of tea.
Shit game they should not map the attacking to the dam stick. sorry but to me the game feels clunky and unfinished with way to much micro management. when your getting new armor or 1 lvl latter getting rid of that armor toget another one just to do it all over again.
I played the demo and thought "hm, this is okay", so I went and bought it, problem is that's really all there is to the game, play the demo six times and you'll pretty much have the gist of it.
I will neither buy Too Human nor any of its sequels, because to me they represent solely the intestinal blockage that Silicon Knights has to shit out before they get down to business and create a next-gen "Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem" game.
Rented it, liked it , and bought it. I loved the combat system and truly belive that if SK put more variety in combat mechanics and enimies, Too human could have been improved greatly. I've also been looking forward to Rise of the giants, since I maxed my Cyber bio a few months ago.
