*sigh* I think I have a problem...it's not really an 'I'm addicted to MMO's problem' it's more the fact that I just can't stick to one of these games.

Currently I have a full access SOE account, a Rift sub and Aion sub....and oddly my social life is still very active...but I digress.

Is anyone else like me? Do you float between MMOs like single player games? I find that I can't just buckle down and play one, and just one, because I keep being drawn to another games world and community?

Is anyone else like me...a kind of MMO traveler?

I stay away from MMOs like the plague.
They're damn addicting and they don't give you much in return besides virtual currency you worked REAL hours to make.

I am the exact opposite. I stick with one MMORPG and "grow with it". It started out with Ragnarok Online and then I went to World of Warcraft (when it finally came out). I am still playing Warcraft. Then again, no MMORPG is even able to get close to what Warcraft has become. Not including Eve Online, that's a whole different kind of MMO.

No, you won't find me playing a half assed shitty MMORPG like Conan or Warhammer (what a disappointment that was) or something. I stick with the best. And I barely have time to play 1 MMORPG.

I am 'kind of' like you. World of Warcraft was the only MMO I stuck with. Not because it was good, not because I was hooked; just because I couldn't be arsed to find another game.

I, as well as almost everyone else in the MMO community, is hoping Star Wars: The Old Republic will fix this problem. Bringing story and story-telling to the forefront of the game may just be enough to addict me to TOR. I am a sucker for BioWare anyway.

I played Rift for a while, it was decent. Aion when it came out.. I had high hopes, but I left that within a month. Shame.

So yes- I do tend to flicker between MMOs, but only because I'm actually looking for a game worth spending my life on. TOR will hopefully be that! :D
