But OT, yeah, they could tone down teh angst a little in games where they have a young main character out to save the world and stuff.

Y'know, I wouldn't call it angst. They actually just show emotion (yes, some are more forward about it than others). I would prefer them over the totally "emotionally challenged" characters.

So, no. Bring on the "angst." They're usually the more interesting characters in games to me.
