Look, you're the one that says you don't believe assholes attack diversity, yet say assholes attack everything. If it's by lack of me spoon feeding you every example when I've already shown it exists (and you admit there was at least one person being sexist) then forget about it. I really don't have it in me to dig up every last bit I can think of just so you can make excuses for the bulk of it, and pretend there's nothing there. Maybe it's because I waded through this hostility for a decade or better, but I know it's there.

I never said you said we should get rid of women, but if you look at nearly every complaint about the bugginess, it's coupled with hostility towards the addition of women. I really doubt there's a single one that says "hey, fix the bugs, but lets keep women." That, all in all, is pretty hostile to the idea of inclusion. It's easy for EA to ay that when the people complaining zero in on the addition of women.
Yah, kinda takes the wind out of the notion I'm only interested in pointing out hate, huh? It doesn't make it meaningless, though. It shows that there's a lot of assholes against diversity out there. They're not likely organized into any neat lil'group though.
Look, beyond kids thinking girls can only be princesses to be rescued, and can't be super or anything, I don't put a ton of weight on how they negatively impact on how they impact development. Luckily we have TV, Movies, and Comicbooks that have a lot of potential to show a girl she can be plenty of things. And hopefully parents.
There's very little chance that Fifa got every last player, and every last referee to lend their voices to every grunt, breath, shout, and yelp, so yeah, I imagine they recycle voices. If they did get every last participant to lend their voice, that adds a lot of women, and a ton of more work, and cash into the effort.
And yet outside of the few cherry picked assholes you still havent shown people disagreeing with addition of women into games. there was what, 5 examples of entire readeship across multiple sites in the first link?
Again, make up your mind, do these assholes exist, or not? If they exist, that's proof. If you want to dismiss it, we're done talking. I'm so very not interested in spoonfeeding you so you can cherrypick some non-assholes and pretend that they make the assholes that exist not count.
For the most part, those complaints seem to be holding the industry back because they're likely shaping the marketing groups the industry uses to cling to their draconian views against leads that aren't straight white dudes.
Yeah, I admit there's a push for diversity -recently-, but it's not all that huge. Not yet.
There's still Ubisoft saying "women are too hard to make as playable characters" and I'm not all that hyped over the new AC until I know that the playable woman is an actual choice instead of a side plot, or something nowhere near the asking price of the whole game. Also weaseling out of adding playable women to FC4.
And Dontnod fighting to keep Strange Life's protagonist female which shows that while people are fighting for diversity, there's people fighting against it.
And yeah, you are asking me to believe that there's no problem with the gaming community, and I ain't buying the rose tinted shades you seem to be looking at it through.
