Too much time on my hands (Pokemon related)

Have you ever done something and when you're done you just found yourself going "What compelled me to do this? Why do I have this kind of free time?" and so on and so forth?

Well I have, and the most recent example is this.

I was so bored that I went through every main series Pokemon game I own and cataloged my teams in each one. I even went the extra mile and made teams for the Gen 5 third game that doesn't exist yet and if they remake Sapphire. I went ahead and stopped myself just short of Colosseum, XD and the Mystery Dungeon games...

So what are your own personal stories of "Why did I waste my time doing this?"

My personal "why am I doing this" is watching any old crap on TV at 2-4am, when I could just be asleep and getting up earlier the next morning, yet something keeps me watching the endless repeats/bad gameshows, it's something about that hour of night that makes bad TV good.

When I was a teenager I wrote a backstory to my Runescape character that got... a little out of hand. It was about 5000 words when I finally stopped, documenting the full ancestry of the character. On Runescape of all things. Also I suppose my old Runescape character itself would count, why oh why did I waste my time on that?

Most pointless use of my time was when i had 2 week holiday booked and no trip planned. Stayed up until 6am most night's writing out all the information i could find on green tea into a notebook.
