Personally my top 10 favs in no particular order, I kid its from fav to least fav of my top 10 and here we go:
1rst: No More Heroes:
From the first time I found it in the $15 bin at the walmart I work at I figured huh this looks interesting, bought it went home poped it into the wii and it quickly became my favorite videogmae of all time, baddass main character , dude's got a freaking beam katana one of my favorite fictional weapons of all time, a satireical story that was chaotic and zayyyyyenee, and incredibly memorable boss characters plus I had a lot of fun slicing through hordes of enemies to get to em, and the side jobs were pretty interesting too. I beieve the 2nd one desperate sturggle deserves and honorable mention but I consider it tied for first place rather than 2nd since its a continuation of the awesomeness and the main reasons why I liked it are essentially the same as the first so whatever.
2nd: Assassins Creed 2:
Personally I think its the best one of the series, I enjoyed the others but I was thoroughly emeshed with the characters and the intricate back story since they were just getting started with the good stuff story-wise.
3rd: Kingdom Hearts 2:
Lets put it this way I enjoyed beating on the old disney villians using the keyblade plus I consider it one of the more creative fictional weapons ever plus in this game you dual wield em plus i enjoyed beating on the various characters from Organization 13 one of my favorite villinous organizations in fiction, plus they proved to be quite the challenge.
4rth: Spiderman Shattered Demensions:
What do ya do when one Spiderman isn't enough, why you get 4 instead, loved the gameplay and the comparisons between the 4 different Spidermen was pretty cool.
5th: Shin Megami Tensei's Devil Survivor:
My favorite game on the nintendo DS, i loved the dark intrigue of the story so much I ended up replaying it over and over till I got all the endings.
6th: Pikmin:
I enjoyed the challenge the game presented gathering 30 ship parts in 30 days or die, plus I found the pikmin themselves to be adoreable and cute.
7th: Devil May Cry 3 Dante's Awakening:
I dark story involving Dante's dark past leading up to an epic confrontation with his twin brother , ya it was pretty epic and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole game.
8th:The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of TIme:
Many people consider this game a classic, as do I, I enjoyed Link's journey across hyrule visiting various places slashing through monsters solving the puzzles, it was fun.
9th: Knights of The Old Republic:
I enjoyed the whole starwars roleplaying aspect it made me feel like I was having my own epic starwars adventure across the stars battling the sith saving the galaxy I thoughroughly enjoyed the experience.
10th: Final Fantasy XIII:
Most people hate this game, personally i loved the backstory and was enthralled with great world the game designers created, i always wanted to see what happened next with the characters and there was always this spark that made me actually want to see the in game world in its totality because i thought it looked like a true work of art.
There are of course other games I loved and enjoyed playing but these the ones that sprang to mind as i typed this all out.

Yes, I'm sure this thread has been done a million times, but it hasn't been done since I joined. If you want to flame me for being unoriginal, please feel free to go and sit in a dark room and cry about how pathetic you are until you collapse in a shivering heap and die of malnutrition and your body is found by the lady who lives upstairs from you in three weeks because her cat smelled the stench of death and got freaked out. I'm interested in knowing the escapists' all-time favourite games (and telling them mine). Here goes.
By the lady who lives up stairs... you mean our moms right?

OT: Favorite game is Assassin's creed 1, cause that's the one I'm playing right now. Maybe it'll be different tomorrow.
I've never understood how someone can only have a "favourite game right now" and not a list of "all-time favourite games", but cool. My favourite game right now is Arkham Asylum, and Minecraft is up there too.

-Call of Duty 4, I don't care that the franchise is looked down upon by the community, the game was great in every aspect and I would only change 1 or 2 things.
-Jak2
-Ratchet and Clank
-Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando
-Portal
-Fifa, I'll count all Fifa's as the same game just because
-Ace Combat 5
-Amnesia, still have yet to beat it but playing Amnesia with my girlfriend at 1am with all the lights off was legendarily fun
-Pokémon Sapphire, yes I chose Sapphire specifically over Crystal. Shoot me if you must, I like my running shoes and I'm not patient.
-Fire Emblem 7, the GREATEST gameboy game of all time. Even dethroning Pokémon in my eyes.

1.Fallout series - It's world is just so immersive and interesting to be in
2.Oblivion - Same reasons as Fallout but the choice in how to want to fight, especially being a sneaky archer
3.GTA series (eariler installments e.g. III & Vice City) - GTA III introduced me to gaming when I was 5-7 years old, can't remember but definately a prophet in 3D gaming
4.Gears of War series - GORE AND HORDE!, and also a pretty interesting story
5.Resident Evil 4 - Bought it for my Wii when my 360 died, never looked back
6.Dead Rising 1 - My first 360 game
7.Metal Gear Solid 1 - Classic that I never played until recently
8.Mass Effect series - Immersive, believable world and the story is excellent with a underlying threat
9. Super Meat Boy - Awesome little platformer speed run
10.Alan Wake - It had an unusual way of telling the story and had a strange mystery that pulled you in

Well, Im pretty happy with my list, I think it's solid.

In no particular order:

- Deus Ex Human Revolution (Just... Wow. I'm not even finished yet and I LOVE IT)

- Mass Effect 2 (Preferred it to the first. Better gameplay)

- Jak & Daxter (Such a fun platformer. Also my first game on the PS2)

- Final Fantasy VI (Better than 7. Just sayin')

- System Shock 2 (That thing Bioshock wasn't.)

- Metal Gear Solid (The original. The rest can fuck off, as far as I'm concerned)

- Audiosurf (It's like Guitar Hero on steroids with your own music)

- Half-Life (The first one. Hated the bullshit hour-or-so long vehicle section of the second)

- Fallout 1/2 (3 and New Vegas weren't as good. Anyone saying they were goes to that circle of hell reserved for child molesters and people who talk at the theatre)

- Diablo 2 (Just... Wow)

I was half tempted to put Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance down, because I did LOVE that game, it was like the 3rd game I ever played on the PS2, but I do realise that no flame shield would be big enough to protect me from all of you.

Please note that these aren't in any order, just in the order I thought of them.... except AC and EVE, they are my top two favourite games of all time and always will be.

-Assassin's Creed 1, 2, B and (yes, before it's even out, because I am such a fan girl I know I will love it) R

-EVE Online (well, EVE is my mistress and I am happily her *****, my go to game. I love playing it and despite taking breaks from this game every now and then I always go crawling back.)

-Diablo 2 (the game that got me into PC gaming)

-Minecraft & Terraria (I like to build things, basically the same games (so will only count as
one), one is 1st person the other is like a platform game)

-Forza Motorsports (all of 'em, cos they're all essentially the same game, just with better physics, graphics and cars with each release)

-Spyro the Dragon (original PS1 game, the game that got me into console gaming)

-Rock Band & Guitar Hero (I like to pretend)

-Halo: Reach (If you had asked me a couple of years ago I would have said Halo 3, purely for the online multiplayer)

-Pokemon SoulSilver (only because it's the only one I've been able to play in a while, I love all of the Pokemon games, but this being the most recent one I've played at length makes it onto my list)

-Unreal Tournament 2003 (another one from when I was younger, my favourite release of the game, I still play it now, sometimes for hours at a time)
