Top 10 Sonic The Hedgehog Music

I played Sonic Generations recently, and all the memories came flooding back. Sonic 1 was the first game I got on Mega Drive (or Genesis). But what do I seem to remember most? The music! So, hoping there are some other sonic fans out there, I thought I would ask everyone... what are the top 10 sonic tracks of all time?

Here's mine:

Since I'm not familiar with the names I tend to go with the games in general.

I liked all the music in Sonic R and all the music in Sonic CD.

Doesn't really make that a "top 10" so to speak, but really- it's so hard to choose one over the other.

Oh joy, a thread that I can contribute quite a lot to! Good thing that I have played every Sonic the Hedgehog game!

My list is, from 10 to 1, but with Sonic music this is difficult:

10. Terminal Velocity Act 2- Sonic Colours

Definitely one of my favorite tracks on that album. OCRemix has made a lot of good albums since then, but Project Chaos is still my favorite.

Obviously it has to be. I always say this, say what you want about the gameplay and story of Sonic games, but you can't deny that they have really good and memorable music in them.
Heck even 06 has very good songs like Kingdom Valley and obviously Crisis City.

Sonic 2: Final boss, although I understand people hating it as a Pavlovian response.
Sonic 3: Hydrocity Act 2
Sonic & Knuckles: Sky Battery Act 1
Sonic Adventure: I really don't remember any of the music...
Sonic Adventure 2: I am the Eggman, because I have the master plan

Special mention: the 'Act 1' boss music that was shared between Sonic 3 and Knuckles and the race-mode Mystic Cave music, because nobody remembers there was a Vs mode
