X-Men Origins wasn't that bad. Honestly, why does everyone hate that movie so much? I wasn't excellent but hell, it wasn't terrible either. It certainly wasn't worse than New Moon or DB:E, now that's for damn sure.

I didn't mind X-men Origins either, really, though it felt really... unneccessary.

The worst movie I saw was Star Trek. By far. One of the worst movies I've ever seen, and the only one that makes me go into nerd rage.

Transformers needs off that list.

As does X-Men

Old Dogs needs to be at the top.

Ninja Assassin needs to be off the (D)HM.

The problem with some people on this subject is that they take movies that are nothing more than adrenaline-pumped action films (Ninja Assassins, Transformers, Wolverine) sometimes admittedly so, and come out of the movie complaining about plot holes or lacking character development or whatever.

But really.

What were you expecting?

I've only seen two of those. Wolverine: X-men: Origins: Wolverine was pretty bad.

Dragonball: Evolution, well- I didn't so much enjoy the movie as I enjoyed my experience going out to see it. By every objective measure, it was awful, but if they make a sequel and have Vegeta in it yelling "IT'S OVER 9000!" I'm sold.

I expect a competent- not great, not deep, not even original, but competent narrative to be set up as a framework for the movie's action. People are being payed millions of dollars to work on these things, I don't think I'm out of line asking for the movie to have some nominal level of logic behind it's story.

Watch Star Trek but with the RiffTrax running and count how many Star Wars jabs they make. Well worth the three US.

I only saw Ninja Assassin and had a Mojito before going in so I did not think it was that bad. Nothing to call home about, maybe a rental for movie night.

I made it about 20min into Transformers: RotF and wanted to remove my eyes. It was Franchise Murder.

However, I didnt mind GI Joe and Wolverine. I mean, they weren't brilliant or mind-blowing but i got a few good hours out of them.

You went to see Dance Flick?

It's a universal law that any of the "Movie" movies are going to suck.

You brought the suffering that movie delivers on yourself.
Ditto the Bejesus out of this; the only Wayans who was ever worth a damn was Damon and no, Homie don't play that.

While there were a lot of great movies in 2009 there's also a lot of bad ones, create a top 10 list of the worst movies you've seen from 2009. It doesn't have to be a top 10 list, it can higher or less.

Here are the worst movies I've seen from 2009:

1. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen
2. Street Fighter The Legend of Chun-Li
3. Miss March
4. Old Dogs
5. Year One
6. Dance Flick
7. Knowing
8. X-Men Origins Wolverine
9. The Unborn
10. Twilight Saga New Moon

Dishonorable Mentions:

Ninja Assassin
G.I. Joe The Rise of Cobra
Dragon Ball Evolution
Law Aibding Citizen
All about Steve
Old Dogs was very meh, but doesn't deserve to be on a worst movies list.
Year One was a lot of meh/decent and came out when a bunch of blockbusters also were.
Law Abiding Citizen was amazing.

i don't think that Year One should be considered worse than New Moon.

year one wasn't a complete side-splitter, but it did keep your attention through out the movie and didn't overstay its welcome.

and as for Ninja Assassin, it scored a few good points for not inserting a pointless sex scene and gave us what we expected, ninjas...

a lot of ninjas...

You didn't add A Christmas Carol. That movie was awful.

Let's not forget the ironic "Funny People" with Adam Sandler. It was a disgrace to stand-up comedy.

I kinda liked G.I. Joe.

It was decent entertainment and that action scene in France was a 100 times better than the entirety of Transformers 2, wich was fucking horrible.
