I found it confusing and disappointing. The reasons given for many of them were based on how they "changed" video games rather than actually listing the best games.

The single best RPG of all time came in around 88. Planescape barely got onto the list. Looking at RTSs, I'm glad to see Starcraft and C&C:RA on there, but no Total Annihilation? Obviously this whole thing is quite subjective, but it's still disappointing all the same.
The GC version of RE4 was always considered superior to all the other versions of the game. I know it looked much better on the GC, but I'm not sure if there were other reasons. Also, the game was released on the GC first so that's probably why they have it listed as a GC game.(whitty name here) said:
