(in no particular order)
Breaking Benjamin
Aqua Timez
Iron Maiden
Brad Paisley
Three Days Grace

Honorable Mentions go to Metallica, FLOW, High and Mighty Color, Linkin Park, Montgomery Gentry, Tim McGraw, Rise Against, Jimi Hendrix, John Coltrane, and Blink 182.

-Rage Against the Machine
-Led Zeppelin
-Nonpoint
-Hollywood Undead
-Disturbed
These are in no particular order. Honorable Mentions are Sevendust and Four Year Strong. Sevendust has a lot of great songs, but I haven't heard enough of their songs to tell if I really like them and Four Year Strong's latest album is extremely amazing, but their stuff before that isn't.

At the moment:
1. Five Finger Death Punch
2. Sevendust
3. Gamma Ray
4. Psychostick
5. Weird Al

I would list my friend's band as 4 but they have no name yet. And I was the drummer for a short time.

Ooh. This is a very difficult question.

My undeniable top 2 are HIM and Emilie Autumn.

After that, the first 3 bands that come to mind are...

After Midnight Project
Closure in Moscow
Ludo
The Mountain Goats
Nightwish
Sonata Arctica
Witness
Cradle of Filth
Kamelot (Why did you leave me Khan?!).

Don't make me choose between all of them. I don't think I have it in me. Plus, they all cycle in and out at various times (with HIM and EA as exceptions), so a to 5 now wouldn't be the same tomorrow.

#5: Awesome band, especially live.
#4: Screamer is phenomenal. Clean vocalist is just kind of meh live. Though on CD, they're a really good listen.
#3: Their singer is a douchebag. Killed the band for me.
#2: I like their new album a lot, but not their previous stuff.
#1: They've never done much for me, though I do like "The Final Episode".

I just felt like responding to you. I've been in this music mood a bit lately (mostly Jamie's Elsewhere, which is another great band).

Right now, top 4 are undoubtedly

#1: The Wombats
#2: Children Collide
#3: Trial Kennedy
#4: Birds of Tokyo

and I can't split Silversun Pickups, Rise Against, We Are Scientists, Muse, Art Vs. Science, The Living End, Eskimo Joe or Maximo Park for 5th.
