I can't do it! It's too much pressure! Choosing my favourite game is like choosing my favourite song. It's impossible. It all depends on what you're in the mood for, and how many times you've played it in relation to how good it is. Also there are other things to consider, like replayability. How much does that count compared to a really well crafted game that can only be played once or twice due to linearity or it being a really short game. I can't pick these things like I can't pick my favourite type of woman, my favourite movie, my favourite song, my favourite food, and so on and so forth.

Out of order:

-Shadow of the Colossus (#14 is my favourite, aside from #16, of course.)

-The original Prince of Persia (Finally got to Level 2! Yay!)

-NyxQuest (Might just win the Official SideburnsPuppy Best Soundtrack Evar award.)

-Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal (I was relatively young when I got this, so my dad had to explain the "Up Your Arse" joke to me.)

-God of War: Chains of Olympus (I have stayed away from Hack'n'Slash for as long as I remember after the incredibly generic adventures of Eragon. I saw God of War at a friend's place, remembered how the original was hailed as the greatest game of the PS2 [my personal favourite console] by IGN, and played the hell out of the PSP. Me and my two friends worked together to beat the game by the end of the weekend. Too damn short. That was probably the biggest emotional release I have ever had on a forum.)

Eh, I can't rank them because I like the games for different reasons.

MediEvil (Creative, vast, original & hilarious. Best thing to happen to the PlayStation since the Mudokons.)
Fallout 3 (Did a rare thing - managed to combine a legitimate, defined character, with an open-world game without sacrificing pacing. All the quests and places really fitted together.)
Portal (Just brilliant game design, and I actually learned something while playing it)
SSX3 (Kind of ashamed of this one, but I absolutely loved it at the time, which is saying something, because I normally hate racing and stunt games. But, who cares when you're cruising down on top of an avalanche and doing an 1980 degree spin in mid air?)
Star Wars: Dark Forces (Because it's one of the first games I can remember playing, and probably the first game I finished. I have great memories of playing it with my Dad. =D)

1. Halo 3. HUGE amount of content, amazing story and everything has variety.

2. Fallout 3. 300+ hours played and I still haven't done everything (Who cares if it's easy?).

3. Call of Duty 4. Best. Multiplayer. Ever.

4. Halo 3 ODST. A very different game from the other Halos while still keeping the same fantastic formula.

5. Portal. Hilarius dark humor + VERY unique puzzle device + best ending song ever = one of the best puzzle games ever made. Would be at a higher spot, but it crimminally short for how good it was.

1. Fallout 2 - I just love that game.
2. Diablo 2 - The best dungeon crawler ever.
3. Starcraft - The first game to incorporate the best RTS mechanics and craft the very genre as we know it.
4. Garry's Mod - Because wasting time was never this fun.
5. Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) - Awesome game, played it loads of times.

1. Diablo 2.
2. Neverwinter Nights.
3. Worms Armageddon.
4. Orange Box.
5. Megaman series on the GBA (Battle Network 1-4, Zero 1-3).

I couldn't choose just one Megaman game. Especially since there are two series I love.

I went ahead and did the old combining more than one game in a franchise on one place, cause I felt like it. (;

1. Baldur's Gate II (PC)
PC role-playing awesomeness! I could go on and on about what's so great about this game, interesting characters, engaging plot, incredible play-time and all that. But when you start playing it at eight p.m and the next time you check the clock it's 5 a.m, you know you have a winner!

2. Zelda ALTTP(SNES), LA(GB), OOT(N64), WW(GC), TP(WII)
I've always been a huge fan of the Zelda series and call me fanboy but I don't know which one I'd prefer. So I'm just gonna go with those 5.

3. MGS/MGS3 (PS/PC) and (PS2)
Solid Snake is just cool, that's kind of half of the game. Other than that, sneaking around for a change instead of just gunning everybody down was a nice change. The plot was exciting (especially if you knew the story from the older games) and had some nice twists in it.
TS for GameCube was pretty nice, it had some really cool cinematics, but I didn't like the removal of accents from the support team and overall, the voice-acting just wasn't as good. The MSG2 engine kind of made the game to easy as well, even on the harder difficulties.

MSG3 was on a similar level of awsome as MGS and I really enjoyed the outdoors sneaking and the camofluage gameplay was fun. Some incredible moments in this game, it's just what I expect from a MGS game, grand.

4. Civ 4
The second was great, the third pretty good and the fourth is the best! Build a civilization and and compete with others. It's strategy on a grand scale and a game I've never gotten tired of. Isn't to demanding on hardware either so it's great for the laptop on trips.

5. Not too sure about this one tbh. My mate and I have been trying to beat Super Probetector (Contra 3 in the US)for the SNES on hard without dying once, so right now I guess I could put that one there, it's an awsome game as well, hard but fun as hell with a mate.

I have to ask though, seriously, what's so great about Halo? I played through the first one, and fair enough it was an okay game. Cool weapons, fun to blow up enemies an' all that. But it wasn't spectacular. I started playing the second one but I got so bored with it, to me it feels like it's trying to stand out in some way, but it's just so mundane and unexciting.
Reminds me of the old C&C Renegade, and if you haven't played it, trust me, it's not a good thing.
