Lets see...

Star Ocean 4
Disgaea 2
Prinny
Team Fortress 2
Lost Odyssey

I think I played those this year. Those are the first things that come to mind, at least.

Demon's Souls
For EU it got released this year though, and I got that version. Great game, on my 21st playthrough now.

Mirror's Edge
How I missed this game is beyond me. Platinumed in like 3 days because I played it to death. And I still play it. Really love the concept.

Mass Effect 1
Nothing to say. It's Mass Effect. Can't wait to play part 2

Dragon Age Origins
Great game again, though with some flaws. Really loved the PC version, PS3 version was kinda terrible. Mods make the game even better for me though the abundance of sex-modes is somewhat scary.

Borderlands
Guns and a WoW style game? Sign me freakn up. Co-op doesn't make it worse either.

Hmm. New Vegas is the only game from 2010 I've even played, so this'll be easy.

City of Heroes
God of War
System Shock 2
Fallout 2
Planescape: Torment

1. Minecraft
Because my girlfriend got me into it. And because I love architecture.

2. Age of Empires 3
Broken, overly complex RTS but for some reason, still very enjoyable.

3. Final Fantasy Tactics
Dark storyline compounded with a clever battle system?I love it..

4. Bioshock
The gemstone of my PC games. After upgrading my GFX, this game completely blew me away.

5. League of Legends
The multiplayer game that currently has me hooked.

I pretty much keep up with good games always.

However, this year I caught up with Borderlands.

Also got a whole bunch of titles that I always meant to play but never got round to it, such as Spellforce 2, but they weren't stellar enough to mention.

i would put this on as i am also hooked to it, but the balance in the game is complete screwed and filled with overpowered characters. Riot also have a habit of buffing characters that didnt need it (pantheon, corki) and nerf chars that didnt need it (garen, gragas) and not nerfing OP chars (olaf, kennen, fiddlesticks, teemo and a long list of others) and instead release 15 more teemo skins.

Hmm. Interesting. Games with the greatest "still great after all these years" factor for me this year:

1. Fallout 3. Bought the GotY edition at the '09 Steam Holiday Sale and it became my "get over my divorce" game. Saved my sanity in the early part of this year.
2. Total War (let's just lump Rome, Medieval 2, and Empire together for purposes of this list so it's not all just Total War games.)
3. The Sims 3. Just decided to start a brand new neighborhood when I bought my new PC, so the slate is clean. Just have to get my Deathfish pond stocked and get someone growing Life Fruit and let the immortality begin!
4. SimCity 4. Same principle as Sims 3, but with a new city region rather than a neighborhood. 'Tis the season for clean slates!
5. Tropico. One of my all-time favorite games and every bit as much fun in 2010 as it was when it first came out in 2001.

Company of Heroes
Bioshock
Dragon Age: Origins
Mass Effect
Call of Duty: United Offensive (greatest call of duty in the series)

I might get some flak for this, but back in the day, Call of Duty United Offensive was the best multiplier fps. Full-scale Tank battles on 60-man servers with bazookas, jeeps, and anti-tank flak guns; and that was just the stock maps.

I agree. The game is broken to all hell. Balance is enforced through careful game analysis and community research, but all the changes in the world couldn't stop cheese players from exploiting certain characters. How many Alistairs do you see? 0. Now how many Vlads are out there? One every other game.

Riot needs to make a lot of changes.
