Great game again, though with some flaws. Really loved the PC version, PS3 version was kinda terrible. Mods make the game even better for me though the abundance of sex-modes is somewhat scary.
Yeah I know what you mean, like a quarter are maps and regions, a couple are gameplay mods and the rest are skins and sex scenes.

Well since I bought my PS3 in September and 2010 wasn't exactly the best year in gaming history, that's almost all of them.
So,
1- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
2- Dragon Age: Origins
3- GTA 4
4- Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time
5- Assassin's Creed 2

1. Deus Ex - best $5 I've ever spent on a game.
2. Assassins Creed 2 - Bought it after buying AC:brotherhood, played brotherhood for 5 minutes, was completely lost, played through AC2, went back to brotherhood "ohh... now I get why he starts off in a room filled with holograms" now awaiting AC:3.
3. Penumbra - From the same people that made Amnesia: The dark decent, was GREAT!
4. Half-Life 2 - self explanatory why anyone would play this. =)
5. Portal!

1. The Last Remnant - Completely surprised by how much fun I had with this game. Over 100hours in it already.

2. Borderlands - The moniker "Diablo with guns" works perfectly and, seeing as I love both Diablo and OTT guns, this game is a no-brainer.

3. Spellforce 2 + Expansion - I'd played this in the past but this was the first year I went through Dragon Storm as well. These games are just so much fun to play and the best RTS/RPG hybrid in my mind.

4. FarCry 2 - Another surprise after hearing all the negative comments about it. It's now my favourite FPS and I've played it through several times, with different styles of play each time.

5. Mirror's Edge - Unique, beautiful, and fun. The game has a few annoying problems (such as Faith not always grabbing onto something) but was well worth it otherwise. If only I didn't have the Steam version so could play the Time Trials DLC.

[Kind of wish I could have fitted GTA4 on there somewhere, but I was growing sick of that game by the end. Mentions also go to World At War (much more fun than Modern Warfare series), Crysis (has some of the best 'linear' FPS levels ever), and Torchlight (for being like crack)]

5. League of Legends
The multiplayer game that currently has me hooked.
i would put this on as i am also hooked to it, but the balance in the game is complete screwed and filled with overpowered characters. Riot also have a habit of buffing characters that didnt need it (pantheon, corki) and nerf chars that didnt need it (garen, gragas) and not nerfing OP chars (olaf, kennen, fiddlesticks, teemo and a long list of others) and instead release 15 more teemo skins.
I agree. The game is broken to all hell. Balance is enforced through careful game analysis and community research, but all the changes in the world couldn't stop cheese players from exploiting certain characters. How many Alistairs do you see? 0. Now how many Vlads are out there? One every other game.

Riot needs to make a lot of changes.

im gonna be honest and say i dont have that big a problem with Vlad. hes annoying when your someone like Annie, but once i reach level 6, he can kiss my sweet, tibbers-guarded ass.

and i have a friend who plays alistar :D

Persona 3 FES: Awesome game. About 25 hours into it.

Uncharted 2: Why is naughty dog so consistently awesome?

inFamous: Very fun game, but I always tried to pickpocket people to no avail.

Valkyria Chronicles: Ive been wanting this for years, but only got a PS3 recently. That said, its one of my favourite games of all time

Metal Gear Solid 4: I always thought old people trying to reclaim their youth was either sad or comical. Now I know i can be totally awesome.

1: Halo 3, particularly in the lead-up to reach.
2: Call of duty: World at war. A friend started playing it again, and we were having a laugh with the "skill cannon" AKA: the rocket launcher.
3: Castlevania: dawn of sorrow. I finally found it for a price that wasn't downright extortionate!
4: Dead space: I don't care what you say, I love that game. Sure, it doesn't go for intelligent tension, but instead goes for a near constant onslaught of, if not scary, unique enemies. Whoever decided to combine aliens and zombies was a damn genius...
5: Condemned: Now that, no-one can deny that is scary.

1. Deus Ex

A PC gamers must and I finally beat it after having it lying for more than half a year. Gun-gamplay and AI was complete arse but story, depth and it's complex nature made up for it.

2. Mass Effect

Had to give it a chance some time, after I got all hyped up to Mass Effect 2. Bought it along Deus Ex but fired it up instantly. Incredible boring the first mission. Stunning the rest 30 hours. Amazing universe, characters and story. Finally I see why BioWare get so much hype.

3. Crysis

Bought new computer and tried the demo and was instantly in love. Bought the real deal the day after and loved every second of it. Not much in the way of story but the graphics and open-ended linearity of the game was simply brilliant. Too bad the sequel looks like shait.

4. System Shock 2

Worst fucking intro ever. Boring as fuck, AI was infuriating and the controls were clunky and I went away destroying the perepetia by looking at some chart over best antagonists ever. Pressed beyond 5 hour playtime and finally got over the annoying RPG hump where my character actually became capable of doing something. Afterwards followed a road of solid golden gaming nirvana.

5. Killzone 2

Robbed a PS3 from a friend and tried out some of his games. After the complete atrocity that was Killzone 1 I was not entirely stoked about the sequel but I new it got solid scores. Played it and found to my surprise a truly innovative console shooter with no knife win button, clever lean and cover mechanics and awesome weaponry. Bit short though, clocking in about 7 hours.

Persona 4. Seriously, this game is AMAZING, and you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't try it.

We Love Katamari. This game helped to preserve my sanity until my psychotic ex-roomie moved out.

Pokemon (Leaf Green, Sapphire). Amazing time-devourers for people who have entirely too much time (yo).

Wario Ware. The original on the GBA, thanks. Microgames were a fantastic idea.

Fallout 3. Way behind the times here, but I got a LOT of good gameplay hours out of it.
