I'm playing Shadow Warrior now on PS4, it's awesome.

If Dishonored is included, then doesn't Portal and Mirror's Edge have to be viable choices. I loved Mirror's Edge.

Really? Far Cry 3 made your list, but Bioshock didn't?

How do people not see that Far Cry 3 is terrible? It relies on making you grind for core gameplay mechanics. You have to grind for your ability to carry more than one weapon. You can't even carry enough ammo to explore the world properly or enough money to buy guns or ammo until you grind for it. And in order to grind for it you have to unlock those towers so you could see where the animals that you need to kill are located. If you don't do that you'll just run around aimlessly in hopes of encountering the right animal. And you'll most likely get killed. I actually found myself making notes in order to prioritize my grinding to unlock everything that I needed to start having fun in that game. Because I was tired of constantly checking the map and backpack and requirements for another holster or whatever. God, that was so frustrating.

And if that wasn't enough, the skill tree is abysmal. I have to buy an upgrade in order to reload while running? I can understand having to unlock the ability to chain takedowns, or those ridiculous grenade and resistance abilities etc. but the fuckin' run and reload, or takedown from above and from below? You should have those from the start...

Now, if you said Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, that would be a different story.
At least you can run and reload in Far Cry 3 (*cough*Destiny*cough*). If you just played the game normally, you don't have to grind for anything. If anything, it was more annoying that you had to wait to X point in the game to be able to spend skill points on certain skills, I think I had at least 10 skill points saved up at one time because I was waiting for the skills I wanted to unlock. Blood Dragon was way more awesome than Far Cry 3 though, I give you that.

1: Borderlands 2- Great fun with friends.

9: No One Lives Forever 2- A good spoof of the spy genre.
Loved these 2, and I didn't much care for Borderlands 1, the 1st 20 hours or so were so boring (I only played because of friends). Borderlands 2 is pretty fun from the start.

Bioshock/Infinite:
I have two words for the Bioshock series ?pretensions wank.? Again this is only my opinion, as for the reason I hold it; well, after playing System Shock 2 and Deus Ex I realised the difference between games that are clever and games that tell you they are clever. I feel that Bioshock is a game trying to appear smarter then it actually is.
Bioshock was an exercise in dabbling in absurd fantasy like worlds where you shoot bees out of your hands at Frankenstein monsters in diving suits, doing all this under the sea. It was never meant to be that clever... always a little silly. Which is why I loved it.

Think of it as a Terry Gilliam movie. Not Christopher Nolan.

I never really got that vibe from Bioshock. I should also mention that I played Bioshock before touching System Shock; in fact I was luckily that I even play System Shock 2 since I thought it was going to be like Bioshock and I didn't like Bioshock.

To me everything in Bioshock felt redundant. The underwater city never felt like anything more then set dressing to me. The city could take place in a cave or on the moon and I think little would be changed.

I agree with you about HL2. I didn't really like it back in '06 Even the people who thought it was a godsend for the time, they have to admit, it hasn't aged well at all.

I'd personally put Halo:CE on the list. Halo lan was pretty damn epic
Halo CE was released in 2001 and this is best games of the decade meaning that 2004 is the cutoff date. As for what I think of Halo. I do think it's overrated but is good in it's own right. It didn't really have much in the way of exotic weapons or did much different from what other FPS were doing at the time. However, it did what it did very well. It was a first person shooter that got the basics right.

No because Disohnered can be played like a first person shooter and a decent one. Yes you only get one and one crossbow. But when the gun is upgraded it actually turns into a shotgun and sniper rifle hybrid and was surprisingly fun to use and didn't feel overpowered because you went for the Rambo approach. There are also different types of ammo so in short Disohnered makes a very decent FPS if you chose to play it that way.
