Now I know it is hard, but I want you to tell me waht you consider to be the 10 greatest songs ever. It can be in a special order or just a list of songs if you can't decide between them.

Other then that, try to just have one song per band, itäs more fun that way ;)

Running in your veins - Renegade Five : One of the best choruses ever. I love this song to death. It gives that feeling of awayness, if you get that. Everything else stops matters when the corus comes.

Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) Green Day : Don't look it me like that. I have no love for Green Day but god I love this song. It can get me the relax no matter what. Just thinking bout my life.

When The Children Cry - White Lion : Now, the big selling point for me here is the guitar. I have promised myself to learn how to play that one day.

Man in black - Johnny Cash: This songs never stops giving me the chills, in a good way! Johnny is one of my favorite artists of all time and this is in my opinion his best song. Can I say that, shit's so cash?

Soldier Side - System Of A Down: SOAD may be my favorite rockband and this is my favorite song by them. Daron and Serj compliment eachother so well that it's unbeileveble. Please come back togheter....

Iron Man - Black Sabbath : May Ozzy's voice reign eternal! This song is loved to death by so mnay people, placing Nr 1 and VH1's best metal songs ever list. There is nothing more to say.

Enjoy The Silence - Depeche Mod: Though call between this and Personal Jesus, but Enjoy The Silence won. Another great chorus, litsen to this song and think about that special someone. Makes you happy.

Don't Stop me now - Queen : It could be DSMN ir it could be anyother of their songs really but this one is a bit closer to me very srange taste of music so there you have it. Litsen to this and to something epic, feel good man...

Fear of the dark - Iron maiden : I would never call me a fan, but you have to love his voice. That's power for you.

November Rain - Guns N' Roses : You might not love me when there is no one left to blame, but you'll always love this song. Their best song and the one I think of when I think GNR.

Man, that was harder then I tought, so to very least you can do is list your favorites? amirite?

So tell us, who are on your list?

I'll give it a try. Here's my top ten songs that I can actaully remember at this time.

The Doors- Crystal Ship
Stabbing Westward- Waking Up Beside You
System of a Down- Mind
The Faint- Worked Up So Sexual
DJ Shadow- Organ Donor or Right Thing
Datsik- Got My Swagger Back
Chemical Brothers- Not Another Drugstore Remix
Paula Abdul- Opposites Attract (a childhood fav)(I even own Mc Skat Kat's solo album)
Atari Teenage Riot- Anything by them not on 60 second Wipeout LP
Satbbing Westward- On Your Way Down

I'm missing a ton of songs of love but these were the first that came to mind and I tried to represent all the genres I love.

Edit: I've been inspired by other's hard work and decided to upload all the videos. Enjoy.

Good choices.
I'd have to say, in no particular order:

Hurt-Nine Inch Nails
Brilliant song, one capable of moving me to tears when I saw them play it live last July.
The Trooper-Iron Maiden
C'mon, you need a reason for this?
One-Metallica
It's fucking One, what else needs to be said?
I Won't See You Tonight part 1-Avenged Sevenfold
It's a masterpiece with lovely orchestral sections that marked the band's shift from metalcore to better genres.
1916-Motorhead
Terribly sad song that brings out a strange melancholy to Lemmy's voice you normally wouldn't notice.
Helena-The Misfits
The first song of theirs I heard. It's just amazing.
Cemetery Gates-Pantera
Again, the first song I heard oft heirs and I fell instantly in love with it.
Full Moon-Sonata Arctica
A great song with a wonderful chorus that's amazing live.
Pretty Vacant-The Sex Pistols
One of the earliest songs I remember liking, who can't love this?
Blitzkrieg Bop-The Ramones
Hey Ho! Let's Go! If you don't like this you're broken.

Note that these are subject to change pretty much constantly.

Ah, The Doors, that's a band who no one remembers anymore it would seem.

I guess that it was their end, my only friend.

Lets see what I can't do...

Komm, Süsser Tod : Took it off the NGE soundtrack and oh how I love it...

At The Gates of Retribution - Krypteria: Epic upon epic

Over The Hills and Far Away - Nightwish: One of the first major songs I heard by 'em. Terrific song.

Whoever Brings The Night - Nightwish: I justify listing this band twice because they switched our their main singer, Tarja, for Annette who gives the band a different style. 'Tis an awesome song regardless.

Masquerade - Symphony X : Just something about this that I love...

Damned Devils and Gothic Divine - Tarja : Well, since she's not in Nightwish anymore...

Death Death (Devil, Devil, Devil, Devil, Evil, Evil, Evil, Evil Song) - Voltaire: Damned hilarious song, as are most of them...

Parade - Susumu Hirasawa : Trippy awesome Japanese song. Really great for cheerin' me up.

Odoru Akachan Ningen - Kenji Ohtsuki & Fumihiko Kitsutaka: From Welcome to the NHK. The piano at the beginning just gets me every time...

Mad World - Gary Jules: This version of the song that I first heard from Donnie Darko. I truly love it.

No specific order, more just a random assortment of 'songs-I-like' by an assortment of my favorite bands...

True. As a kid I hated the doors but now I understand their genius. Crystal Ship is my favorite of theirs but I really love all their music. Now if only I could make sense out of the lyrics.

Hmmm, ok, I shall give this a try.

Hauu Nanodesu: Well... it is Nanodesu, it has to be one of my favourites.
Why, or Why Not: It is a fine song... some people have said it seems melancholic... it suits me, in contrast to Nanodesu.
Taishō.a: A nice, calm song, but it seems to possess a certain beauty...
Egao Happii Piisu: Duh! My character song! Haaauuuuuuuu~
Lilium: Ah, what is this? A nice, slow song, at odds with the others... sung in Latin.
Miku Hatsune - Last Night Good Night (Oyasumi) COVER: Ah, yep it is in here. As sung by a member of the Escapist.
Francium - Miku: What's this? It's Miku! It's Crazy! It's here!
Carl Sagan - 'A Glorious Dawn' ft Stephen Hawking: Couldn't call myself... umm... whatever, I give it up, it just kicks ass.
Erasure - Always: What? I swear, I was listening to it days before I played Robot Unicorn Attack!
Naraku no Hana: Ah, and a final song to round it off. I've given up explaining them now.
Well, I probably didn't get them all right, but there are 10 of my favourites.
I felt it would be easier to post the vids...
Just means I can share :D

In no particular order:

Dstryr/Dstryr - Lostprophets
Survive - Rise Against
Hero of War - Rise Against
Give It All - Rise Against
Collapse (Post-Amerika) - Rise Against
House of Wolves - My Chemical Romance
Last Train Home - Lostprophets
Livin' On A Prayer - Bon Jovi
iViva La Gloria! - Green Day
Horseshoes And Handgrenades - Green Day

For the lack of System of A Down in this list: They do many good songs but...none of them stand out as classics, I'd say...victims of their own success somewhat.
If I had to include just one, I'd go for Shimmy. Or BYOB. Or perhaps X...or Forest.

While My Guitar Gently Weeps - The Beatles

Amazing song. George's lyrics are incredible, and the guitar solos are amazing.

Brothers in Arms - Dire Straits

The guitar part just blows me away.

Fields of Gold - Sting

Very relaxing, very enjoyable.

Time - Tom Waits

I've always loved Tom Waits. This is probably my favorite of his.

Downtown Train - Tom Waits

A little more up beat side of Waits. I like it.

Ruby's Arms - Tom Waits

I just can't get enough of this guy!

Imagine - John Lennon

I think we all know why. Peace + love to everyone.

Watching the Wheels - John Lennon

Just a great song. The lyrics really identify with me.

Play With Fire - the Rolling Stones

One of their more mellow songs. I like that side of them.

In My Life - the Beatles

Great song. Most likely what will be played at my wedding/funeral.

"Knockin' On Heaven's Door" - Bob Dylan: It was a tough call between this and "The Times They Are A-Changin'" as well as "Shelter from the Storm," but for me this song stands above the rest. It's a very brilliant and simple reflection on war and regret and I find it absolutely beautiful. The cover version by Antony & the Johnsons is almost as good as the original.

"He Lays in the Reins" - Calexico & Iron & Wine: This is a supremely beautiful folk song from two masters of the genre. And though the EP it debuted on was very strong, for me this was easily the standout track.

"Self-Destruct" - What Made Milwaukee Famous: This band is one of the few younger groups that I feel very strongly about. Their debut was one of the tightest freshmen arrangements I've listened to in a while, and while I think they took a few missteps with their sophomore efforts, it's overall still a very solid performance. This track in particular really stood out to me. It's very simple in both its melody and composition, but the lyrics are rough and brutally honest, something a casual listener can miss if they listen to the tune alone.

"Long Time Coming" - Rubyhorse: On the whole, Rubyhorse never impressed me much. Most of their songs were good, but fairly forgettable. Except for this one track, which has remained a favorite of mine since first hearing it back in 2005. The slight bluesy feel to it coupled with the sorrowful lyrics make it absolutely compelling.

"I'm On Fire" - Bruce Springsteen: The Boss is another artist whose catalog is so strong, it's tough for me to narrow it down to just one. But this one song is so beautiful and true, it remains a favorite.

"Mona Lisa" - Grant-Lee Phillips: Phillips has one of those voices, he can sing virtually anything and lend it a weight and gravitas it might not have possessed before, demonstrated superbly on his cover CD, Nineteeneighties. But his talent as a songwriter is equally grand, as this one demonstrates.

"The Ghost" - James Yuill: It's not many artists whose work so thoroughly defies classification as Yuill's. The best I can come up with is folktronica. And while the blend of styles might seem an odd juxtaposition at first, Yuill is masterful at putting such distinct sounds together to create beautiful harmonies and backing melodies coupled with simple, earnest lyrics. This song is a great representation of the best parts of his work, and is one of those I just can't stop listening to.

"Curs in the Weeds" - Horse Feathers: This is another very simple folk arrangement. Horse Feathers are true masters of storytelling, and even a casual listener can't help but be transported to the places they sing of in such detail.

"Sound of Silence" - Simon & Garfunkel: I've never been the biggest Simon & Garfunkel fan, but a few of their tracks really speak to me. None more so than this one. The lyrics are poetry and the harmonies crisp and clear. Absolute gem of a song.

"Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)" - Floren + the Machine: This is easily the youngest song on the list, but I can't help it. Any band that can reference Greek myth with such grace gets my attention. The entire album is a strong one, but the standouts are this track and "Cosmic Love" which really reflect the band's intellect and emotions.

Yeah, that's how it goes. It is awesome indeed. Slightly sudden ending, but eh.
Is it just me who thinks the songs Serj wrote alone for SOAD are some of the best?

I also forgot Welcome To The Black Parade...
My playlist contains many awesome songs.

Naaah, can't really follow you there about MCR.

Mama and teenagers are great but more then that I don't really like them.

Gerad or what his name is isn't that great of a singer.
