inb4 Friendzone.

Actually, that's my answer; friendzone.

Unfortunately, I don't think that topic will be leaving these forums any time soon.
ohh yeeeeeeees

AND "this girl left me and I'm so depressed" <- to be unsympathetic but it happens to everyone
But I'm so perfect for her! I saved all her facebook pictures! I know her blood type! I'm so much better then that stupid jock. When has he ever watched my little pony? when has he ever wrote a 10k essay about why Micheal Bay's transformers is the worse thing in the world.

All he does is exercise, socialize, study a bit for exams and stuff. He's never spent ten hours on the internet masturbating to pokemon hentai!

Wanted to post this for so long.

Anything to do with politics ever. Partly because I'm well quite right wing, this site is usually quite left wing so meh. Also you get the crazies there.

The classic rape thread goes something like this

"If I'm strong enough to pin a women down and she can't resist then that's consent"
"If you ever look at a women and think she is hot then you are a closet rapist"
"Women aren't intelligent enough to give consent, just want money"
"Patriarchy"
"Feminazi"
"Sexist"
"No u"

Anything involving circumcision, because those tend to get real bad real fast, rape and at least here anything concerning JRPG's unless it's a recommendation thread.

Can't think of any general topic category I won't get into. There are specific discussions I won't touch, but those are generally due to a lack of interesting discussion and/or a plethora of overly irrational posters.

Hmm, on second thought, I'm changing the stance presented in the first sentence. I won't touch any "which X is better" threads

Nothing I really refuse to discuss if you personally ask me to discuss it, but I might cut the discussion off pretty quick. Everyone at least gets a chance to prove they'll at least consider my point of view, because I will briefly consider theirs.

British food.

I steer well away from that clusterfuck of silliness.
There's no point in discussing why all British food is inferior to the poutine, so I don't blame you.

OT:

I made the mistake of posting in a few abortion threads, I usually prefer to stay away from those because no matter what side you're on, you're either a murderer or a conservative nut job who hates women....... I never intend to return to the R & P section of this forum actually.

These friendzone and gender war threads get pretty annoying as well.

Mainly politics and religion since I don't feel like getting into an argument over semantics and whatever. Also, I have very different views than most people that go to that forum, so I'm just avoiding a headache and countless messages.

Anything dealing with sexuality and rape, those can get very ugly very fast, and I'd rather not be involved in them.

I have a few that I refuse to discuss:
Religion and Politics since those usually lead to the worst types of arguments and I'd rather not subjugate myself to them.

Circumcision, I seriously didn't know this was a problem until I came here. It's honestly one of the fucking dumbest things I've ever seen debated.

Girl Problem threads, I seriously have no sympathy for you and your lack of social skills. I've had my share of girl problems but I never complain about them.

Anything involving police, These also lead to nasty "I hate police" debates which I hate.

There are more but these are the biggest ones. I'm not a big debater so I stay away from anything that could lead to a debate.

Anything that starts with "I am a creationist"
I'd be prone to ignoring those if we saw them a lot because it would take more work than I'm willing to go through to find them evidence that they will just ignore anyway.
I still think my favorite quote I have got on many occasions is "the purpose behind evolution is to make things into humans" it appears to be the end game revelation of "Higher and lower forms of evolution" wherein things are somehow more ore less evolved with human being the most evolved and somehow best and a random organism being the worst for very ambiguous reasons such as "That organism is total shit!" a clearly scientific view that can be demonstrated as true to one's peers

Of course there's the whole thing of religion and politics things that I will never bring up unless I actually know you.

To just keep it Gaming related:
-All indie games are good/indie games are better than AAA games by principal
-Nintendo "betrayed" hardcore gamers
-All FPS games are ruining the gaming industry
-Casual gamers are ruining the gaming industry
-Mobile gaming is ruining the gaming industry
-Sequels are ruining the gaming industry
-Stating that all JRPGs are inherently inferior to WRPGs. Or that all JRPGs are like Final Fantasy
-PC Gamers are a better community/smarter/have better tastes/are "real" gamers.

Because if you are stupid enough to believe any of these in the first place, I know I'm wasting my keystrokes.

Also,
-Bronies. I don't get it, I don't particularly care. I don't mind the show, I don't mind that guys like it, I just find the certain actions of members of the fanbase to be extremely annoying.
-Girl Problems. Because I'm not qualified to give relationship advice.
-Circumcision. Because WHY? JUST WHY?

Micro evolution vs. Macro evolution.

These people generally want to see a time lapse video of some animal evolving, because that's what Professor Oak taught them about evolution.

Religion and politics, I used to debate alot, but it just gets boring and repetitive. Debunking point after point after point just gets so tiring

religion, politics, and if games are art. All of them just lead to both parties getting pissed off and nothing being accomplished

Girl/guy problems, having problems with girls/guys sucks I know I've been there, but unless they are unusually disastrous complaining about it on the internet is even worse.

Job/money problems, same reason as above.

Rape, all the topic of rape does on the internet is open a flood gate of awe-inspiring stupidity of almost every variety.

I've also learned to avoid politics and religion if I can, I find you'll get roughly the same results as smashing your head into a wall, you might get something to shift but you'll still have a massive headache.

Abortion, almost as bad as rape in terms of stupidity.

I'm sure there are others but those are the main ones I try to avoid.
