Torchlight (I&II)

Torchlight is a dungeon crawling, loot gathering, hack n' slashing game of awesomeness. The first game consists of a player choosing one of three classes (the alchemist, vanquisher, or destroyer) and then venturing forth to rid the mines of Torchlight from monsters. I'm a huge fan of the game and eagerly awaiting the next. Originally I read that Runic Games was going to make Torchlight II as a an MMO but now they are putting that off and making the sequel continuing the story and game play from the first Torchlight.

Anyone else psyched for Torchlight II or have interest in the 1st? They have just announced the Torchlight II's first class, the Engineer.

I assume they're...practical problems?

I'm a fan of the first game, and I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one. Multiplayer, better interface, larger overworld, mods, offline mode (take note, Blizzard) etc. Sounds great to me.

I didn't like it much. I mean, its OK, but theres so much sparkly crap going on the screen at a time I can't even tell whats going on.

Well, its certainly worth the 2.50 I paid for it, so theres that.

I liked Torchlight, but it didn't hold my interest for long.

I enjoyed Torchlight, and the multiplayer factor for this one will definitely add a ton of playtime to it for me.

I loved the first game and Torchlight 2 is absolutely a Pre-Order for me.
