For those who just saw it, what did you think?

I thought it was very fun to watch, although the American bits were a bit silly. My favorite bit was the part with the Paedophile/Murderer talking after the guy after his execution, he is a fun actor to watch, he reminds me of Christopher Walken.

Bloody awful. In a sentence: Stupid plot, poorly written, badly edited, and overly Americanised.

I was rather underwhelmed. The series seems to have turned into a generic action movie with cameos from Torchwood characters. There were some scenes that stood out, but I was dissapointed.

I liked the premise, especially around Jack, but it was horribly written. I mean really badly scripted, it was almost cringe worthy.

I think a lot of the... silliness and Americanisation was satirical (although that may be wishful thinking on my part).

I just feel like it was as much a "Hey look, we're back with a bigger budget than ever" that an actual episode.

I noticed with the last big Torchwood thing too, and it happens fairly often in it, but Torchwood really needs proper antagonists sometimes.

Compared to the start of 'Children of Earth' last year. It sucked. A lot.

I liked the premise of the story - it's quite interesting. However it took 20 minutes until Captain Jack was even in it! That's unforgiveable. It should not take 20 minutes to get the main character into the program.

Would like some explanation as well. I know it's going to be revealed in the second episode, but they gave loads of questions, but with no answers at all.

Liked the murderer/pedophille thing though - that was quite an interesting thing, with him proposing that he 'served his sentence', which was also quite smart. Looking forward to seeing where that leads.

I have a soft spot for Bill Pullman (the convict who survived his execution). And I really loved his scenes. He's giving a good performance here, I hope they do something clever with him.

I really don't like the CIA (FBI?) guy. He's obnoxious, so far he doesn't seem to have any purpose. Same with his female colleague. Not the best start here.
The bombing attempt on Jack should pan out to be an interesting sub-plot.

At the same time, it really doesn't look like there was a great deal of forethought put into this. Children of Earth felt like part of the rest of the mythos, not so much for Miracle Day so far.
Gunna be 10 episodes to my understanding. It could go all sorts of directions. Might be really good.

The CIA/FBI/mandatory-minority character was a bit too... American Action Stereotype. I did like the episode, but I hope they tone down the explosions and make the CIA guy more likable.

I like it, shows what everyone does when the timelord isn't around

The stuff torchwood would have to do is very bourne conspiracy ... AWESOME

This show does ok, but it could've been so much more ... still fun to watch so i'll be waiting for the next episode
