I guess I will say mine for my favorite...Napoleon: Total War. (Yes I know...I don't enjoy Rome that much...blasphemy!)

Favorite Faction(s): France followed by Austria
Favorite Unit(s): Fusiliers of the Line, German Fusiliers and other heavy infantry units.
Strategies and Tactics (They aren't the same =P): On the campaign map I'm quite defensive with a focus on building up my economy before I go and wage war. This is ironic to a degree since my two favorite factions start out killing one another.
In my battles I like to attack. I find that it is really bad to lose the initiative by sitting and waiting for the enemy to come to you. I want my opponent responding to my actions, not the other way around.
Also as shown by my favorite unit choice, I'm a heavy infantry man. The vast majority of my armies are made up of heavy infantry with only a small amount of cavalry, light infantry and artillery support.

Ok well medieaval total war 2 is probably my favourate game ever, my favourate faction England by far.
I like to have roughly half my army as longbowmen, because that way you have so much firepower that even when you attack your enemy on the campaign map they will still attack you on the battle map.

My longbows form a huge line infront of my force, about 4 or 5 ranks deep so that they can still fight in close quarter (everything from yeoman level up has reasonable cc stats), then i put heavy infantry behind to rush forward to deal with enemy elite infantry such as didmounted knights. I will always keep a small force of cavalry (maybe my bodyguard and one or 2 other units) vbehind the infantry line with any artillery.
The artillery an archers will do a brilliant job of cutting down almost any enemy force to such an extent that the archers and small heavy infantry contingent will have no problem slaughtering them up close. My cavalry are either used to take out enemy artillery or archers that stray away from the enemy army, or stop to bombard my main line. with this task completed they will then charge the enemy formation in the back weakening their strong points, and leaving them in the perfect place to capture the maximum amount of troops when the enemy route occurs.

This tactic will often stumble if my missile troops are outnumbered as the AI will not assault me under these circumstances, this will leave my archers without their stakes and therefore open to enemy cavalry charges. but i can sort this problem by hunting them down with my own cavalry units, or by using archers to absorb the charge (i hate doing this as i cant stand thinking of my troops as disposable), then bringing in the dismounted english knights to cut up the enemy horse with their heavy pole axes. Yeoman archers and Retinue longbowmen actually make quite good lance fodder as they seem to have a massively high moral any time I use them.

My campaign tactics never realy seem that remarkable to me, I try to never attack unless I'm attacking at least 2 or 3 cities at once (In one campaign the mongols owned the whole of the holy land and I owned all of europe, I finally launched my crusade and in one turn I took antioch, acre, Gaza, Jerusalem, Alexandria and a couple of places in turkey; those battles were amazing fun one straight after the other victory after victory (which is lucky because I'm shit at assaulting settlements, I just open up the wall with artillery nd then zerg rush and hope for the best), it maybe the best few hyours of gaming i ever played).

in rome i didnt realy get on so well, I started out as the green romans and killed of greece asap so that i could unlock them to play as, but i found the slow paced nature of phalanx combat frustraiting, so i went back to playing as rome. Infantry line supported by archers and cavalry again, it was pretty much the same as playing as england.

I wish i Could play empire but my computor just wont be able to do it.

M2 as Britain is the best in my opinion
Men at arms in front of a crap load of longbowmen with a couple cav on the flanks = meat grinder
Napoleon: TW as Britian
a line of guard infantry with the black watch holding the centre, 3 or 4 regular infantry as reserve, a unit of dragoon guards on each flank supported by 8 batteries of properly micro'ed rocket artillery
