Tough Choices you've had to make.

I was browsing the innanet around when I came across this old pic of a mermaid:

And I spent way longer than I'd like to admit weighting the pros and cons of each side. I could go into that but the end result was that I never decided. So Escapost, what choices have you had to make in your life (choosing one thing or another generally) that was so ahrd to choose that each situation was a lose lose.

To start us off in wrestling we were doing a sort of tourney and I got matched with a girl. She insisted hat we wrestle but I didn't want to, I was faced with two choices: Beat her,It will be a one sided fight and she grunts like she's being touched inappropriately, making me look bad. Or let her beat me, to do that I'd have to throw the match or she could have been stronger than I thought, and my friends would never let me hear the end of it. I ended up choosing a third option, drawing the timer out. At the end she admit that she was holding her strength back (I was too but was getting tired) and that she didn't want to win or lose because of the choices similar to mine.

As for the fish thing, seeing as I'm not gonna try to get laid with either of them, I'd go with the normal mermaid, pretty face.

As for tough decisions: Paper or Plastic is actually a difficult decision when you look at it hard enough.

I've never been able answer that question once.
It depends on how hungry you are, what the soup of the day is and what you ordered. With all these variables, it is impossible to choose a perfect solution. However, 6 out of 10 times, I choose salad (usually with vinaigrette).

Yes. Which is why I bought reusable canvas bags. Also, my grocery store gives me a discount for using the canvas bags.

Man, that's a creepy picture.
Seconded! I have a minor fish fear, though, so I really was not prepared for that giant, gaping fish head. *shudder*

On the topic of tough choices...I recently was supposed to start university. About a month before the start of term, though, I found out the bill was doubled. I'm paying for everything all on my own, and I had enough originally to pay for all 4 years. With the increase, though, I only had enough to get through the first 2. Maybe. So I had the choice to either stay enrolled and hope when the time came I could get loans/more financial aid and then graduate with far more debt than I was comfortable with (more than many people's mortgages) or withdraw and try to find a cheaper school. I chose to withdraw, even though it was my dream school. Just could not swing that tuition. :(

And I tend not to agonize over my decisions - if I know I have to make a huge decision, I force myself into a situation where I only have a few seconds to decide.
It's better that way.

Yep, less of a chance to realize whether or not you chose poorly. I shop the same way, get the first thing I like and stop looking.

OT: The regular one, talking would help pass the time better.

Being a girl, I would pick the traditional mermaid. I can at least talk to her. But then again, same gender would be cheating.
Hard decisions: I tend to jump into it with hard ones. Unless money is involved, I never have enough to be brash.

There are very few instances in my life where I've made a decision, I usually just procrastinate and then see what happens. I think I would probably choose poorly if I were to obsess over a decision.

one of the tougher decisions I've ever had to make was around when I met my boyfriend. I had to choose whether I wanted to keep the lonely girl lifestyle whcih I had enjoyed so, or if I should try and get into a steady relationship.

I am SOOOO glad I chose the latter. Now that I look back on it, I realize that I really didn't enjoy being lonely all the time.

Well, sometimes I take quite a long time at the front of the line at fast-food joints.

Waitress: "Would you like a soup or salad?"

Me: "Yes, I would like a sooper salad. Why do say it like that, are you Greek?"

Recite it out loud.

@topic

I had to choose between Scribblenauts and L4D for $15. I chose correctly.
