Do you think Toy Story 3 will ruin the reputation of the other 2 films? Or do you think it will just boost the already legendry franchise of Toy Story?
I realise the story hasn't been released yet.

To see more about it visit my blog at ....
I wont be "avertising" my blog anymore but I'll put the link on my page if you want to take a look!

I think Pixar knows what they are doing.

Hell, Up! came out of nowhere and was amazing.

Plus, they have the origional voices, so they avoided that proverbial shot to the foot.

The graphics'll be better, and they'd better make the plot good this time. I couldn't stand the singing in Toy Story 2. Really annoyed me.
I think we've all been missing our lovable toy friends.

Up! isn't out in Ireland yet so I'll have to take your word!

Seems a bit early to judge it, doesn't it? No details of the story or any footage has been released, and you can't really form an opinion of it from the teaser trailer.

I think it will be better than Cars 2... I dunno every time I hear a new Pixar movie plot or tittle i don't like it, for example Up sounded kinda boring but it was like one of my favorite Pixar movies. I'm sure TS3 will be good

I think it will be terrible, but then, I didn't really like the first two toy story films. the games weren't too bad.

Saying that, i'm open to surprise.

Toy Story = Great.
Toy Story 2 = Even Better.
Toy Story 3 = ?
Are you seeing a pattern here? I won't get my hopes up, but Pixar hasn't gone wrong yet.

I grew up on Toy Story 1 and 2, so I have Nostalgia to "back up" my optimism. Besides that, Pixar made Up, a movie about an Old Man, an Asian Boy Scout, and Doug who SQUIRREL are Floating in a house tied to a million balloons to some place in South America fucking awesome, I'd say it's a safe bet. Also, Pixar has charm behind their movies, Dreamworks, while ok at most, has pop culture references and Shrek.

Pixar has yet to disappoint me, although I haven't seen Cars, and people say that was somewhat average. Anyways, The Incredibles, Up, and the Toy Story movies were amazing, as were Finding Nemo and Ratatouille. Unless they have a really stupid plot, I can't see them screwing it up.

Another point I was trying to make is should they even make another one or just leave it on a high

Also, the audience who grew up with TS are older now and may not enjoy it as much as when they were youger and the younger gen that didn't grow up with mightn't get he concept like we do. But thats just my opinion!

Not a chance. Toy Story was Pixar's first movie, and the only one that they've ever made a sequel to. As the franchise that got them noticed to begin with, they're going to take a lot of care over Toy Story 3; they will make sure that it's a great film. The fact that the exact release date was revealed over a year in advance is a fairly clear sign of this, I think: it's probably pretty much finished already, but they want to take their time making sure it's as close to perfect as can be. That's what I think, at least.

There are precious few film studios I'd be willing to say this about, but since it's Pixar, I think it's safe to get our hopes up. They're not going to screw this one up; Toy Story 2 was fantastic. They know what they're doing, and they know how much people love Toy Story.
