I hope it's good, Toy Story is my favourite ever animated movie but Toy Story 2 always ruined it for me :( Lets hope 3 makes it better.. I just hope they don't ruin it like Dreamworks did with Shrek :/

The phrase "It's Pixar" may as well be code for "It's amazing". I'm sure it will be nothing less than awesome.

I think Pixar knows what they are doing.

Hell, Up! came out of nowhere and was amazing.

Plus, they have the origional voices, so they avoided that proverbial shot to the foot.
Up! isn't out in Ireland yet so I'll have to take your word!
Don't take his word for it, go see it. It's not Pixar's BEST film, but I DARE you to not love it.

Toy Story = Great.
Toy Story 2 = Even Better.
Toy Story 3 = ?
Are you seeing a pattern here? I won't get my hopes up, but Pixar hasn't gone wrong yet.
I *AM* seeing a pattern... it's the same pattern that The Godfather and The Terminator movies took... wait, that's not a good thing, is it?

Toy Story was made of wonderful awsomeness.
Toy Story 2 was made of more awesomeness.
Pixar is made of infinite awesomeness.
It will be awesome.

Oh yeah on a side note Toy story 2 on the PS1 was my first game so I hold Toy Story in my heart for introducing me to gaming.

Pixar have proved to us that they are f*cking awesome, so I am confident they will keep it up. I mean, just look at Up! - that proved to us that not only are they still on the scene, but they are still great.

I have no doubts that Toy Story 3 will not be loved by those who see it but is anyone thinking why wait a long time for another sequel? I have an itch that Disney is in trouble...again.

I'll bet this is the film that ruins the franchise.

Thousands of completley-100% confident ticker-buyers are outraged, and they storm Pixar studios

The studios descend into a warzone. The national guard is called in.

The Second Civil War begins, between the government and its people. REVOLUTION

DO NOT SEE TOY STORY 3!

SAVE THE FUTURE!

SAVE THE FUTUUUUUUURE!

Since the first Toy Story in 1994 Pixar has clearly shown us that they can do no wrong. I have confidence that they can churn out another good story out of such a unique concept.

As someone who grew up watching and rewatching Pixar films I have never seen a bad one yet. Except Cars. I just didn't like that one for some reason.

All I'll say about TS3 is that, after 10 or so years I hope its awesome. At least the original voices are still there.
After Wall-E I turned and told a friend "They can't out do this one, this has got to be one of the greatest movies ever made".

Then they made UP, which proved me absolutely wrong.

If you read the back story of Toy Story 2, you'll find that Toy Story 3 will be great as well. TS2 was meant to be a straight to DVD 40 minute title with no real effort put into the film, but when execs saw the dailies that Pixar provided they demanded Pixar make it a full-length theatrical release instead.

How dare they deny you the right to watch Up!

And it is true it wasn't their best, but it is still spectacular. If it ever comes to Ireland, go watch it/rent it/ whatever, just see the movie by any means possable.

From Wikipedia
"Pixar is not against sequels, but believe that they should only be made if they can come up with a story as good as the original."

With an ethic like that and Pixar's current track record I'm 99% we have nothing to worry about. Cautious optimism ftw!
