It Seems that Tim Allen (Buzz)has signed for Toy Story 4

here's the link http://www.hollywood.com/news/Tim_Allen_Signed_For_Toy_Story_4/7013508

Your thoughts?

Edit: For all we know it might not even be the same Buzz And Woody, remember the Buzz isle in TS2?

Maybe it's going to be some new toys all together *hopes for Optimus Prime toy*

This is, if it's even a movie, could be a TV show?

Edit2: Huge Spoiler alert for people who haven't seen TS3
i would like to see what happened to bo and the rest of the characters to be honest, could be in-between 2 and 3, but remember, it doesn't have to be a movie.

Toy Story 3 was supposed to be the end of it... All of it was supposed to wrap up... They're gonna beat it dead now

I'm not sure about it...
On one hand, 3 wrapped things up pretty well.
On the other hand, that's what I said about 2 when 3 came out, and I was pleasantly surprised.

For something like this, i think the only way to tell is to see the movie.

I guess they realised that Toy Story is still as popular (if not more than a decade ago) enough to carry it on. Seriously, feel free to create a sequel that caps off it's two prequels in a nice even manner, feel free to milk it for all it's worth at the time. But, more? Is this going to end up as one of those 'pretend it never happened' sequels?

I guess that's the problem when you realise how freaking huge your market is:

The children of today who eat these movies up anyway
The parents of today
The teenagers of toay who saw the first two movies a decade ago
The parents of the teenagers of today who also saw it a decade ago
Probably a few grandparents as well (it seems that a lot of memories my friends and I have consist of watching movies with grandparents, movies like Toy Story)

I guess if they can still sell it...

Why? No really, why?

If this actually happens, then is Disney taking Toy Story down the Shrek route?

There's no point in another sequel. Toy Story 3 made the perfect conclusion to a great film series, the only real way to add to the franchise is to take a step back, like Shrek did!

So you know what we have to do then, gentlemen? Tim Allen has to die.

No, but, seriously, this is Pixar, they're not going to fuck it up by making another one. Toy Story 3 was THE end. The article even says that Pixar doesn't need to make a fourth movie, it's just an option.

Let me guess why disney is about to beat the horse dead now, they're taking Toy Story the same way Shrek has right?

There is actually no point in making another Toy Story. Toy Story 3 had such a perfect ending, so perfect that I can't how they are going to continue it without ultimately killing Toy Story altogether.

No. Just no. Toy Story 3 was too perfect, they should leave it at that. Pixar does not operate like this.
