Achron Launch Trailer

How many other games do you have to consider the grandfather paradox while attempting to out flank your opponent?

So... you go back in time to reinforce yourself in the past, I guess.
Where does the grandfather paradox come in? If the "older" copy is killed, does that mean the "newer" one will have never have gone back in time in the first place and not make it to the battle?

Is that what you're saying?
Sounds interesting, I guess. Though I'd like to see what else you can do with the mechanic.

I...have no idea how this concept could possibly work. (The trailer was too confusing for me to figure it out).

Well, I'm sure it'll be interesting either way. Wonder if they have a demo...

You can do more than that for example, you can change actions that have already happened, to make them more advantageous to yourself.

That, or you could trigger it by having a unit kill the building it was created in, before it was created (play it right, and you get a unit for free).

This video might help.

This trailer makes my head bleed. The trailer makes me feel like a retard because I don't understand what's going on in it. Although does make this game incredabley interesting. It looks deeper than the old fashion time-travel system of "past and present" e.g. Legend of Zelda; Oracle of Time.

Oh my god, it's finally happening... I can't remember the first time I heard about this, but maaaaaaan, I've been excited about this for a while, and I generally just SUCK at RTS's. Although... I wouldn't really call it a "REAL"-time strategy... It would be more of a... Multiple-Timeline-Strategy? MTS? I dunno.

Oh, though I will say one thing that looks unfortunate already: The color scheme. It seems very dull and lifeless. If the game is as awesome as I hope it'll be though, I probably won't notice.

If you are curious about the game, there are plenty of videos of it on YouTube. There have also been a couple tournaments recently that were casted and uploaded to YouTube as well.
