Oh, fuck off, that what just stupid.

Hey guys, remember when Assassins would use social stealth to take out a target because charging head on into an army of bad guys would mean certain death?

I'll admit, I've never really liked scenes where one person takes on a whole bunch of people and wins, especially when they escape completely unscathed.

I thought Assassins always assassinated people by spamming counter-attack on everything in sight in one massive mob fight? That's what I always di-.. wait..

I don't think Conner flunked Subtlety 101. I think he was kicked out with a mallet to the ass for trying to massacre entire english settlements in open daylight.. because he could, I guess?

In the snow!

On a Sunday!

Also, the snow was worse than the snow of today.

Yes, yes, it's all good. Now go back to your blanket, and your plans to assassinate that evil head nurse. I mean, the way she wields that clipboard she must be a templar, right?

I thought it looked awesome. He will probably be a little more subtle in the game. I don't understand how so many british missed 1 man though. They must have the aiming skills of storm troopers. No wonder we were able to break off.

Why do I sense the feeling that Mel Gibson had a hand in writing/directing this one?

Its also nice to see that the whole "one American (with maybe a few friends) can win a war all by himself" mentality is still alive beyond old John Wayne movies. I SERIOUSLY hope theres a huge twist at the end of this installment.

Remember when the devs said that that the game would be more neutral in terms of politics?

Have we actually seen a trailer where Connor isn't slaughtering the British?

I'm sure they'll have on for the Next British Major Game Show.

Am I the only one who kept thinking that the rebel leader dude with the eyeglass was going to brush aside his coat to reveal his templar cross, before gulping or similar?

I don't think we have to be honest. Which is why I'm hoping there is a twist somewhere (betrayal/falls in love/realizes what hes doing was a set up), you know, the usual cliches.

I don't mind the British being bad guys, I just wish it was less...

American, about it all.

I mean an eagle? Seriously :D

By "rebel leader dude", I presume you're referring to GEORGE MOTHERF**KING WASHINGTON?!?!
Who I believe was established in AC lore as a Templar.

My guess is that a lot of the previews will make this seem like a USA vs. UK game, so as not to confuse those who would jump on the controversy wagon.

Nice to see one of my ancestors portrayed with at least positive ambiguity for once...and it's nice that the Tomahawk/bowie knife fighting was accurate for the cut scene.

Yeah, that was about the time I started cracking up. And since the eagle was the very first shot, it made hard not to keep going, "America: FUCK YEAH!" in the background.

On the plus side, kudos to them for not using the usual red-tail hawk sounds for the eagle.
