as awesome as Ezio is annoyed as I am that they don't have a new assasain after 3 games. I do like the way they are going into Altiar's past so we can get some more background about the apple and hopefully so more info about the 1st race

one more thing, Ezio must be about 50 now, as he was in his late 40 by the end of Brotherhood, shouldn't he have died of old age or something, especially consisdering the time he lived in?

Considering the lifestyle he led, he would be extremely physically fit, so being alive at that age is not out of the question, he most certainly wouldn't be as fast as he was when he was younger though.
Considering how old he is this will certainly be the last game with Ezio in the spotlight, and I'm most certainly glad for that, Ezio was certainly a character I liked and a trilogy is a great way to finish off his saga, two games just would've felt unfinished.
Ubisoft has shown great promise with fleshing out this series and I'm honestly happy to just let them do what they want with it at this point.

Absolutely amazing. Love how the epic trailer is followed by a small reminder about pre-orders, just like "yeah... you might as well just give us all your money now"

You do make a very good point there, and I do think Ezio is a great character I just wished they took the whole ancestor memorys in the DNA concept to at least 3 different people. But yeah finishing off Ezio's story will be a great game what I also like is that they are hassing out Altiar as well since he was a pretty decent character and I like the fact we are going to find out more about his story after he took control of the brotherhood

People actually did live to be surprisingly old in the middle ages, all of the average life expectancy statistics were skewed by the huge infant and childhood mortality, if you managed to live to your twenties, barring accident, murder, childbirth or plague you could expect a good chance to hit 60-70s. Also Ezio, Altair and Desmond are all meant to vaguely descended from the Adam and Eve precursor humans, which probably conveys some sort of longevity (pre-flood humans according to the bible supposedly lived for centuries), along with some strength and dexterity bonuses.

As much I want a new character, I really like tough old badasses like Sam Fisher, Geralt and soon to be Ezio. That wealth of violent experience at their fingertips lead to awesomeness.

... How did that guy not see it coming?

OT: I am interested in how the series will go from Brotherhood, but I may wait for some gameplay footage before I start getting hyped up for it.

I, for one, actually prefer sticking with one character. Jumping from a random person to the next seems counterintuitive to their story, and the character development of Desmond. They would have so much less to do if they had to spend every game establishing something for each new character, then inpersonalize them so they could move on to the next guy, all while maintaining the depth of their story in the respects the conspiracies and mystery.

This was perhaps the best trailer of the year. The CGI is mistakable for a real movie. The music was perfect. The references to Altair as well as the mystery of how Ezio gets out of this situation. I will pick this game up on launch day, for sure.

I love how Ezio is going through the bleeding effect somewhat. That and we all know he survived this. He has to go to get the hookblade don't he?

Also, Ezio is one of my favorite game characters cause it take three games to show his development. I mean goddamn he is in his late 50's and he still showing people he better then half of people his age.

It goes to prove with great ability come great experience.

EDIT: May I have song please?

I don't have to say that i nearly raped my laptop out of joy after watching the trailer, that's pretty obvious. But the question is, what is the amazing song in the background ? anybody knows ? please say the name of the band and title, much appreciated.

I'm looking forward to see how they wrap up Ezio's story especially after the cliff hanger in brotherhood, and a return to masayaf has really peaked my interest, also that trailer is just amazingly beautiful.

I can't be bothered to punch my date of birth (or any date of birth for that matter) to access the content behind this trailer / article, but as far as i understand it, this is yet another game starring Ezio. Now i love Assassin's Creed, i'm a huge fan, and i liked Ezio. But honestly if i have to sit through another five minute cutscene where people say 'gratzie' or 'madonna' or one of the other oddly placed Italian words every thirty seconds i think i'm going to pull my hair out.

That's not really the crux of my disappointment though, it's that it feels like Ubisoft are really dragging this out. Brotherhood was fun, but not needed. It felt like (story wise) something that could have served as DLC. Filler until we get Assassin's Creed 3. And now we get another one? I thought the point was you went through different periods of time to experience the lives of other assassins and then eventually bring it back to the present day where you'll get to play as Desmond and experience a climactic ending. I'd much rather visit Victorian London, or Colonial America, or Rennaisance France, or something. At least a new protagonist and a new setting.

I hope they'll actually answer some questions rather than make us more this time as well. It feels like they're just stringing us along because they're not sure where to take it next, like they've become lost in their own convoluted plot of Gods, templars and assassins. Here's hoping for some exciting revelations.

Oh, does this mean we're finally allowed to climb rocks? It seems silly for a free-runner to be unable to climb rocks, that's all...

Anyway, I thought I recognised Masyaf at the start of the trailer! At least this means that Ubisoft has finally given up all pretence of pseudoscience and is just going for pure, honest magic.

What is up with the awesome trailers for all the AssCreed games? Seriously, they look damn pretty and whenever they feature some song, it's a great one.

Anywho, I'm now excited for this game. Seeing how Masyaf fits into the story is on its own interesting enough.

I wonder how Ezio will ultimately die...
If they're sticking to the technicalities they've worked into, we won't get to see Ezio or Altair die. The only way we're able to look into their lives is because they were able to pass on their memories in the form of genetic information, in the events after the games.

Of course, I suppose that Shaun could just add a little note in the end or something. But that likely wouldn't be the main ending of the story (or story arc or whatever.)

Also, awesome trailer. I already made up my mind to buy this, but it was cool to watch anyways.

WANT. Buying now. Can't wait for November. Want it now. It's pretty, and awesome looking, and... Blargh. Want it now.
I was going to buy it anyway, but this... Well, made me want it now, oddly enough.
