Hmmm... yeesh, there's a lot of material I didn't know about. How unenlightened I am.

Having said that, that opening narration was annoying...

Damn, I didn't know I missed out on a lot of stuff that deals with AC, now I feel like I don't know very much about that universe.

That part at the end, I have no idea what that's all about, looks like I'm going to pay that website a visit.

Didn't even know about the DS games. Are they any good? My DS has been collecting dust for months now.

They are playing with history in a very cool way. It's mystery and science fiction mixed with adventure and action. And some awesome storytelling with great characters. So basically Assassin's Creed is awesome. Too bad Ubisoft doesn't care much about PC gamers because I love Assassin's Creed.

Its always amazes me this all spawned from a gamble Ubisoft took with the first Assassins Creed and as a lover of the franchise, I'm really glad it paid off, just please don't ruin it Ubisoft, pretty please

Kind of interesting that they had built quite a fair enough in only a few years. I got to wonder, doesn't the main character in the game feel bad that he himself isn't an assassin? Well ok the group probably died off in his current time (I don't own the game so I don't know the full detail).

Well, that was a fun little ad.

When they say it out loud the animus makes even less sense than it already does.

Okay to start off, I like the Assassin's Creed games, a lot. The gameplay is fun, the stories (at least for AC 2 and Brotherhood) were enjoyable.

That being said, they really need to quit it with stuff like this. This smacks of a bunch of back slapping at creating a cultural touchstone... like when the closing credits for the original AC listed the voice credits in about 14 different languages.

The games are good, but not THAT good.

Wait... imperial Russia?

Imperial Russia!?

Why are we getting another damn Ezio game when there's something as cool as imperial Russia on the cards?

God damn it.

Also, I realise it's not meant to be 'hard' sci-fi or anything, but a not insignificant portion of my brain is currently beating against my skull, screaming, "Memory and genetics don't work that way you hacks!"

Well I knew that they had that mini series with Ezio's dad, the comic, and the book for AC 2, but the rest I didn't.

I love AC, it's my favorite series and I feel stupid for not knowing about the rest. I love what they are doing with the series, and how they are playing with it, makes me all giddy. But the very last bit I'm just wondering what they are advertising for, I would love to get a hold of that Ezio statue, would go perfectly with the other one I have. XD

I'm still waiting when it turns out that Desmond's most recent exploits are as Sam Fisher...

I think what bugs me the most about the Assassin's Creed series is that it's story is stuck with Ezio and Altair. Like they're too afraid to let them go. I mean, their main media is games, and they just want to stick with these two characters five games in. I want to see a game taking place somewhere like Imperial Russia, or World War 2. Hell, imagine World War 2 with assassins. It'd be awesome!

Well, on topic, the trailer is a good recap of the series, but I think what ruined it was the music. It just doesn't fit the mood of Assassin's Creed. Otherwise, eh, it was decent.

I knew there were four Console games, two short films, a comic book, a novel, and several DS games of Assasin's Creed, but damn, this makes me feel like I should know a hell of a lot more for something I'm a huge fan of. Looks like I've got quite a bit to look forward to.
