Wait... imperial Russia?

Imperial Russia!?

Why are we getting another damn Ezio game when there's something as cool as imperial Russia on the cards?

God damn it.
My thoughts exactly. There are so many time periods that they could work with, and seeing imperial Russia makes me wish they would try out something new. Here's hoping to AC3.

Visit the chronology of the Assassin's Creed series.
Oh hey the chronology of the Assassin's Creed series, what's up? Just figured I'd stop by and see how you're doing. Oh cool, you made cookies.

Didn't even know about the DS games. Are they any good? My DS has been collecting dust for months now.
They're not very good, no, the main reason being that it's free running in a 2d environment, which is kinda boring. The controls are fiddly too, not nice and straightforward like the console games. Take a look if you feel patient enough, but I wouldn't pay too much for them. I did, and it got traded back in with a week. But that's just me.

OT, I'm intrigued by the little video clip playing in the corner at the end. And also, I may well have to have a look at those Imperial Russia comics. Didn't even know they existed.

Kind of interesting that they had built quite a fair enough in only a few years. I got to wonder, doesn't the main character in the game feel bad that he himself isn't an assassin? Well ok the group probably died off in his current time (I don't own the game so I don't know the full detail).
well, desmond has his hidden blade, and he killed those abstergo guards, and he knows how to parkour, so yeah, he can be considered as an assassin. And according to the game, assassins still exist today.There.

I'm still waiting when it turns out that Desmond's most recent exploits are as Sam Fisher...
That would not surprise me in the slightest. I can see Ubisoft smashing two franchises together like that.

I didn't realize there was that many Assassin Creed related stories. I kind of want to see that Russian one.

Ok, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Assassin's Creed 3, not Assassin's Creed , Assassin's Creed 3 is going to be set between 1700 and 1900 in Russia.

Besides who wouldn't want to here a russian assassin say one-liners after killing someone with a rifle?

Hmmm... yeesh, there's a lot of material I didn't know about. How unenlightened I am.

Having said that, that opening narration was annoying...
Same here. I'm wanting to take a look at that comic set in Imperial Russia now ;P

I know right? Imperial Russia? Makes me hope the next game after Revelations might be more modern

Definitely, though they might weant to improve the shooting mechanics, especially when it's in Desmond's timeline. found it a bit odd none of them had guns at the end of AC2. :/

hmm, shooting really doesn't fit into the AC universe though, maybe they can come up with some bullshit excuse, like the Kinetic shielding (shields that activate when something passes through them with enough speed) that existed in KotOR that made swords as viable as blasters in combat

I'm pretty sure the pictures of those Imperial Russian Assassin's had rifles strapped to thier backs, so writing them out wouldn't fit, if that's supposed to be part of the cannon. :/

But you may have a point since this is set further into the future. Well, here's to hoping, anyway. :D

Damn, I didn't know I missed out on a lot of stuff that deals with AC, now I feel like I don't know very much about that universe.

That part at the end, I have no idea what that's all about, looks like I'm going to pay that website a visit.
They are playing with history in a very cool way. It's mystery and science fiction mixed with adventure and action. And some awesome storytelling with great characters. So basically Assassin's Creed is awesome. Too bad Ubisoft doesn't care much about PC gamers because I love Assassin's Creed.
What are you talking about, all 3 of the AC games are available on Steam.

I thought the Fall was concept art for an Imperial Russia game, my dreams were crushed.

Still, Assassins Creed is my favorite series of this generation, and I highly doubt the new one won't live up to the standards set by the previous ones.

*hrk* Me too... though noting that it's set in 1888, got to involve Imperial Germany somehow, too. Did Frederick III really die from throat cancer?! Hmmm...
