I wonder, what with Crytech pushing Cry Engine 3 as a movie industry renderer whether there are similar plans with the Frostbite engine - the clips in the trailer and tech demo were certainly damn impressive, but I wonder how they compare under the hood.
Then again, Crytech's always been about the multiple sales fronts - US army sims and the like apparently being where the company makes their money, with the games being just a sub-division. Presumably the movie tech front is also another division, and I don't know that Dice or EA has that sort of management ability. Would be interesting to see them compared, by someone who knows their stuff.
