It's about freaking time someone did that in a game. Pisses me off that I'm always holding my weapon up while prone when the damn thing has a bipod. I've been wanting someone to add WORKING bipods to guns in FPS's for some time. Hit down on the D-pad or hold X to deploy bipod while prone or against cover...

It's quite interesting to see it actually being put in, but it doesn't suddenly turn a game into gold.

Looks good... but they need to keep the old Battlefield spirit in there! Most of this series has been the closest I'd want it to feel like a real battle before it became stupid. If they can jump back up to that standard, then I will be in love.

Didn't realize AA did that, but I only played the first version years back.

I imagine that adding this feature would actually be something of a rage issue in online games. People don't like snipers or LMGs in my experience. Setting up a bipod and establishing a position with an LMG would definitely cause some rage. Ditto for having a bipod stabilize your sniper rifle while prone. Come on, poor sports on the internet made up the term "hard scoping" to try to rag on the proper use of a long range support rifle; they're definitely not going to like that same guy flipping down a bipod and not having to deal with as much sway or recoil...
