Looks really fun but is this footage from a campaign or multiplayer? I've heard that this blends the two together but not really sure how its going to work. can the campaign be played with others over live? do they all work for the same side or is it a serious of story missions where players takes roles in both sides? or is it just a straight up objective based PvP game?

The campaign is essentially multiplayer with bots. There is no standard TDM mode, but rather each mission has its own set of main objectives that change (although thats not to say there might be a TDM portion of a level) and the multiplayer and singleplayer experience varies only in who you are facing.

so its counter strike with class'es...*deep sigh!*
What?

Anyway, I'm not that excited for this game anymore. The combat just looked awfully unsatisfying, almost like MAG.

I don't know why they just don't say "the right man for the job" as you can't have a female character anyway. I'm glad there is another team based multiplayer game on the market. I find them a lot more fun.

Wait, what? What would make you assume that? Counter-Strike doesn't have anywhere near the amount of customization available in Brink. Choose a class, choose a body type, choose your primary and secondary weapons, choose your weapon add-ons, etc. Not even mentioning aesthetics here.

Does one trailer for a game make people forget about the previous one, or what?
And not to mention the parkour.

Finally! It has been pretty frustrating having only pictures and vauge blog posts to go on for this game. Now that there is some actual footage, I can actually see what this damn thing is.

(I guessed it would be a game about rebelling against an omnipotent government. Close enough).

It seems to be based on Team Fortress 2, which isn't a bad thing. Between this and Homefront taking cues from Battlefield, I'm glad the dark FPS's are at least starting to draw inspiration from things I like rather than from CoD.

Also, leave the Conduit alone! Just because it was a mediocre Wii game it doesn't give you the right to destroy it!

Stop hating on Homefront already, you were in every Homefront thread before just to hate on it. We get it, you hate Homefront, now stop posting in threads that have a totally different subject.

Anyways... I will admit, I'm a sucker when it comes to silly action and explosions. But I still wonder how this campaign and multiplayer thing with work out.

I'll do my best to help

You start the game and choose your side resistance or police, you can then start playing through the campaign, you will fight alongside bots against the enemy bots trying to complete the story objectives (hack this to open the pannel, blow it up to cut power, fight your way into office get key for jail, escorte prisoner to extraction point etc etc etc) you can leave your settings so that a freind can join in your game and you can choose if he can help in your game or oppose (co op), you could leave it so all your friends can join (suddenly you are in a multi player match) you can then all work through the rest of the match each side seeing the story from there side, the loading screen will show the cut scene using your charecters to build up the story for that map then once loaded game goes live.

You could go online and play the campagne against others in a story mode where if one side wins they then go on to play someone on the next map while you play that map again aginst a new group of players. you could play in stop watch mode where both sides play the same map as each side, first team sets the time, the second team then try to beat it (fastest first) effectivly you could put a group of players together (e.g a clan and play the whole campagne against other groups discarding the defeated for another team that defeated there previous oponents or meeting a group that just had there asses handed to them and now have somthing to prove)

hope this wall of text helped in some way, will try and edit it down into more clear version

I don't even care for FPS's and I'm oddly excited for this. I'm happy to see a game focused more on fun than the prettiness.
