You're right, that's why I'm buying it for the campaign and Spec Ops, oh... and the new Survival Mode. Oh yes, MW does have offline modes, contrary to popular belief. And they're also very underrated.

I don't think they're underrated - they just get a lot of hate from the anti-CoD stans. They're critically acclaimed, extremely popular, and on virtually every thread, even the ones hating on CoD, you'll get innumerable comments to the effect that "I'm only getting this for the campaign" or "I just want to see how it ends", which is anti-CoD stan code for "I'm buying it because I love the story".

Im not hating on cod because its popular, im hating on it because its the same thing over and over again, the ONLY aspect of mw3 i like so far is the horde mode type spec op mission and that is it, the sp story is going to be over the top america getting screwed but bad guy gets assasinated and everyone goes back to loving each other, a hero will sacrafice himself, the end, all done in prob less then 5 hours of game play if that, oooo or maybe they will leave it on another cliff hanger so everyone rushes out to get mw4, im done, maybe in 5 years time when its in the bargin bins i mite get it, but cod isnt what it use to be... sorry if you think im hating for the sake of hating but id sooner spend my £40 on something else

Then why are you here? I hate the Final Fantasy games - I think they've turned into repetitive self-referential drivel - but I don't hang out in the forum sections of the release trailers for new FF games and hate on FF all the time. Why would I? I don't like the games. If someone asks I'll say so but otherwise it's a waste of my time. You're free to hate on CoD if you really want to, of course, everyone needs a hobby, but this dedication to anti-CoD stanning goes above and beyond and makes me suspect it's done because there's a certain gamer culture cache in being seen to have done so, not so much because CoD is bad.

im here like everyone else, because i wanted to see the trailer, because i thought "ooo something on the single player, hopfully it has a more mature and sensible story line, something closer to cod4 and not mw2" but nope... and like everyone else im entitled to free speech and was hoping in engaging someone in a sensible discussion, not a "omg u hate cod! your a noob! you only hate it because EVERYONE else does!"

More like BF3 ripped from MW2/3. They have done that for a bit. Hell, if CoD didn't have rap trailers, I don't think BF3 would have had one.

I like the absolutely pointless monologues in this trailer. Just like the MW2 SP trailer, talking about Cain and Able for some unrelated reason.

Guess that's to be expected from the game that looks the exact same.

The monologue isn't pointless. The first trailer had Makarov talking about how much damage can be caused by the will of a single man, this trailer has Price countering that and saying the will of a single man can be broken.

I'm really hoping this one is relatively long. If they've been releasing this many trailers for it, hopefully they put a lot of effort into it.

That was my one and only complaint about the MW2 campaign (well, ok, that and not really understanding the story at some points) and I really hope they've addressed it. Make this one long!

Also I was hesitant on getting the game but the SP looks soo awesome, plus I have liked all of the COD multiplayers so far, so I probably will like this.
